“retaining its bird-cage lantern”
The Baileys Harbor lighthouse is a lighthouse located near Baileys Harbor in Door County, Wisconsin. Replaced by the Baileys Harbor Range Lights and the Cana Island Lighthouse in 1869. It is one of a few lighthouses in the country to have retained its bird-cage lantern.
This Lighthouse (which is on a private island) is a private residence and is virtually unviewable from land. You may be able to get close for a decent view if you bring a kayak and kayak close to the other side of the island. But with that said, it really could only be viewed from the water since you shouldn't trespass on the island.
