This rest stop is flanked by mountains on one side and a large farm on the other. No sites themselves but a large flat asphalt space which the state says can hold up to ten big rigs. Two covered picnic tables accompany the vistas. Large dumpster for trash and two vault unisex handicapped accessible restrooms are available.
If you find yourself on the way to the Loneliest Road in America from I-80 or just want the beautiful route towards Austin NV, this makes a nice quiet stop.

Traveling from Las Vegas to Bend, OR in our 38 ft class a motorhome and this was a great stop.
It’s right off the highway, easy entrance and exit. Mountains on both sides. 2 picnic tables, dumpster, and vault toilets. In early May it was in the 30s/40s at night. With our heater on we could hear no traffic but counted maybe 1 passing car every 30 minutes.
Fell asleep with 1 other nice camper in the lot and woke up to 5 of us in the lot. Plenty of room, flat, and pretty!
