Fun quick side trip on the loneliest highway. Great views over the valley, good picnic stop
We came on Thanksgiving and it was snowing so strong we could not enjoy anything but the city is super cute.
Not bad little break on a long road trip. The fence keeps you from getting close or going in. The road up is gravel but easy. Some tables for a picnic, no restrooms though. Good viewpoint. There are some remnants of mining equipment too.
