Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on February 20, 2022After looking for an overnight spot near Augusta I ended up with this one. My expectations were low from the photos I'd seen but there's just not a lot of options in the area. I was pleasantly surprised! The park was much cleaner than I expected. The photos don't do it justice. There are quite a few residents but their sites are well maintained and not junky. The people we talked to were very friendly. We checked in on a weekend so everything was done via email. They sent our site number and all the info we needed, including the wifi username and password. The wifi was excellent! The park is located close to I-20 so it's easy to get to and out of. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because there are no facilities. It would be nice to have a bathroom on site. A few of the sites are fairly narrow but our site was fine. We would stay here again.

For the price you would expect a bathhouse, laundry. No amenities at all. The site was level and a great pull through but the Main Street is right there all the inner sites away from the road are for perminant people. Road noise was more than one can stand.

This is the closest park we found to Augusta, and they let us roll in without reservations - although we did have to call them as they do not staff their office on Sundays - or any other day except between the hours of 1pm - 5pm.
It's an RV park. Sites are spaced with about 15' of room between rigs. Sites are decently level, gravel with concrete patios, and have 50A/30A, water, sewer.
Lots of road noise, campground isn't 'pretty' but isn't 'ugly' either. It's clean and taken care of.
No amenities other than your space - and the ability to get mail. No showers/bathrooms, no entertainment features, no spaces to walk your dog (although there is a sidewalk along the main road the campground is situated on).

We needed a place to land for one night while traveling. The park has no amenities such as bathhouse. It offers clean park with full hook ups that is easy to get to off of I-20. Some have noted some road noise. We didn't notice much, but it was during the summer with the A/C running all night. Site was very level with a cement patio with picnic table. We would stay there again if we were traveling through or need to do business in the area.

We needed a spot on our way further south. Somewhere close to the hwy, where we could clean the RV, get our trip groceries and have access to any hardware needs. This park was perfect.
Augusta has everything. We managed to hit an antique car show, De-winterize, sterilize our tanks, Visit downtown Augusta, walk the riverfront, visit the Morris Art Museum and get all of our groceries.
There are no bathrooms or showers.

Just a barebones RV park but that is okay. This was a short stopover for us on our way west. The park is basic, no amenities, no shower/laundry, but great service and comfortable. Nice location in Augusta. Good FHU sites, most of them look pretty level. The park is clean and well maintained. Make sure you read their directions and look for ENTRANCE 1, there is a big sign. You can only come in from one direction. Good wifi. No cable. Sites are pretty spacious, not too close together, easy to navigate inside the park. Mike (the manager) will guide you to your site and provide any help if needed. We weren't here long enough to explore Augusta, so no tips. Would stay here again.

Nice one stop for us. Clean, and easy in and out. There is one pull through space near the entrance for a long rig to keep from unhooking. Our traveling companions used it. Great communication, as our sites were already marked with our name, and paperwork was taped to the door(we arrived during a holiday). We would stay here again!

This campground is nothing fancy, but it is really your only option if you want to be close to Augusta. It's right on a busy road, but we heard very little traffic noise at night. All sites are full hook-up and $35/night or $160/week, so very well priced. The new owners are working to upgrade the property. The sites that are upgraded are paved and have nice landscaping. They're pretty close together, but the sites are nice and wide so you don't feel like you're right on top of your neighbor. The roads in the campground are dirt/gravel as are many of the sites. The owner was very nice and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again if traveling to Augusta.

This park houses mostly long-term residents, mostly in RVs with a smattering of mobile homes. One section of the park has been recently renovated with new gravel pads (fairly level), concrete patios and curbs, and new grass/sod, and is being used for short-term rentals. The park is in a slightly run-down area about two miles from a more developed area with malls, restaurants, etc. The sites were reasonably sized - not too crowded together, but not exactly spacious either. There are plenty of grassy areas to walk dogs inside the park, but since the park is small we usually walked through nearby neighborhoods. One thing worth mentioning is that the free Wi-Fi worked better than most RV parks. We'd stay here again if we just need a home base near Augusta. Our rate was for a weekly stay plus a few extra days (in September 2014).

Heritage RV Park is about the best place in Augusta to stay in your RV. You can drive 20 miles outside of town and stay in COE campgrounds for cheaper and on the lake, but to be close in to Augusta and/or Fort Gordon, this is a decent place. The park has sandy roads that need to be worked on, but the sites are adequate and clean. You get a concrete patio with a picnic table and a grassy area. In order to get cable, you have to go to the office and leave a deposit to get a box in order to use the tv. We just use the OTA antenna on the RV and it works fine. There is free wifi that seems to work ok. There are no bath houses. In close and convenient to I-20 and Fort Gordon. We've stayed her several times while visiting family.
