The "Adults Only" Sleepovers from May - July include Behind the Scenes and Gallery Tours, as well as fun activities for all. After everyone has gone home, and the Aquarium has closed its doors for the night, we invite you to join us for an exciting night of exploration. Explore the Georgia Aquarium after hours and sleep beside one of our world-class exhibits. The Aquarium offers sleepovers for families, youth groups and adults. As an added treat, sleepover guests can now view episodes of our award-winning series airing on ABC-TV stations, “Ocean Mysteries with Jeff Corwin from Georgia Aquarium!” On November 23, 2005, Georgia Aquarium officially opened its doors to the public. As the world’s largest aquarium, Georgia Aquarium features more animals than any other aquarium in more than ten million gallons of water. Through a path of more than sixty exhibits, the Aquarium tells a global water story, with features modeled after the greatest zoos and aquariums in the world. Each majestic exhibit is designed to inspire, entertain and educate. Home to whale sharks and manta rays, Ocean Voyager is the world's largest aquarium exhibit with 6.3 million gallons of water. Watch thousands of animals in front of the largest viewing window in North America. Georgia Aquarium is an entertaining, intriguing and educational experience for guests of all ages. While promoting a fun and enjoyable learning experience, the Aquarium instills in its guests a new appreciation for the world’s aquatic biodiversity.The Aquarium enhances the Georgia tourism offerings and provides local residents with a world-class entertainment attraction. It is an anchor for downtown’s revitalization efforts being a benefit to both the city and the state.To date, Georgia Aquarium has attracted more than eleven million visitors and employs more than 400 employees and a dedicated core of more than 2,000 volunteers. The Aquarium has dedicated twenty-five percent of the gallery space to educating students of all ages who visit the Aquarium, we call it our Learning Loop. The Aquarium utilizes innovative technologies as well as interactive and interdisciplinary techniques to ensure that students have an enjoyable academic experience.One of the Georgia Aquarium’s major goals is to be the leading facility for aquatic animal conservation and research. Our state-of-the-art animal health facility, the Correll Center for Aquatic Animal Health, is 10,000 square feet and was designed by world class veterinarian professionals and conservation organizations. It is the only integration of an aquarium and a veterinarian teaching hospital. On a more global scale, the Georgia Aquarium supports, conducts and leads research on environmental and conservation issues.Georgia Aquarium is a 501(c)3 organization, and we rely on community support to fund our special programs including education and veterinary services.

Great experience! 50 dollars a person for 2 people it was 104. We got into 2 shows which was dolphins & a seal show which was GREAT !! I loved it I would definitely come back. Read more
