After everyone has gone home, and the Aquarium has closed its doors for the night, we invite you to join us for an exciting night of exploration. Explore the Georgia Aquarium after hours and sleep beside one of our world-class exhibits. The Aquarium offers sleepovers for families, youth groups and adults. As an added treat, sleepover guests can now view episodes of our award-winning series airing on ABC-TV stations, “Ocean Mysteries with Jeff Corwin from Georgia Aquarium!” On November 23, 2005, Georgia Aquarium officially opened its doors to the public. As the world’s largest aquarium, Georgia Aquarium features more animals than any other aquarium in more than ten million gallons of water. Through a path of more than sixty exhibits, the Aquarium tells a global water story, with features modeled after the greatest zoos and aquariums in the world. Each majestic exhibit is designed to inspire, entertain and educate. Home to whale sharks and manta rays, Ocean Voyager is the world's largest aquarium exhibit with 6.3 million gallons of water. Watch thousands of animals in front of the largest viewing window in North America. Georgia Aquarium is an entertaining, intriguing and educational experience for guests of all ages. While promoting a fun and enjoyable learning experience, the Aquarium instills in its guests a new appreciation for the world’s aquatic biodiversity. The Aquarium enhances the Georgia tourism offerings and provides local residents with a world-class entertainment attraction. It is an anchor for downtown’s revitalization efforts being a benefit to both the city and the state. To date, Georgia Aquarium has attracted more than eleven million visitors and employs more than 400 employees and a dedicated core of more than 2,000 volunteers. Best Aquarium I have ever seen, by far. We paid extra for the Sea Keepers Tour and it was totally worth it!
Awesome place! I loved every minute of it especially the Whale Sharks :)
Brought two of my daughters individually on different occasions, all the way from Ontario. Great experience.
Totally worth the price
I enjoyed the museum and the the tunnel walk was fantastic, but I dislike with their acquisition of new beluga whales captured in the wild.
This seems incredible. I've been to the Shedd Aquarium but they don't have sleepovers.
Definitely worth seeing while in Atlanta
So excited for the new Shark exhibit - and cage diving in January!!!
