Stayed here 2 years ago, and ready to head back. Aside from the very loud sound of rushing water through the walls (plumbing from other units) throughout the night, it was a good hotel. Centrally located to everything we did in WNC: from Grandfather Mtn and Linville Caverns down to Dupont State Park; It was about an hour to anywhere we really wanted to go which was perfect. I'd have given it 5 stars if not for the pesky issue of hearing all the water rushing through. One more thing, if it snows and you have kids who want to play in it, you will need to go somewhere else because there is no flat open space here besides the parking lot. I did like that there are warm heaters blowing on you as you enter through the doors!
