Come check out this unique piece of history located in Southwest Georgia! The Crime and Punishment Museum served as Ashburn’s jail from 1906-1993. The jail has seen many colorful residents over the years and experienced at least one hanging that we can verify in 1914. Tours through the Museum are given Monday through Friday from 10:00am-5:00pm. To ensure that best guides are available please call ahead to schedule your tour. Tours are $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for children. For groups of 10 or more a catered lunch can be provided at an additional cost. So come on out to Ashburn, GA and experience southern charm and take a step through time in the Historic Crime and Punishment. You never know what you will find…
