This pleasant campground was tucked away, nestled next to the Jocko River whose flowing sounds couldn’t quite drown out the highway noise. Fortunately I have silicone ear plugs for such occasions so I was able to get a good night’s sleep. They accept cash or check only at the time of our stay (8/17/20). Electric only at the sites but there was free portable water and a dump station on premises. Very clean bathrooms. There weren’t many sites available because there appeared to be a lot of long-term campers.

Beautiful, intimate park with the Jocko River running along side it. The owner, Kathy, was wonderful! We spent a couple of.nights at a site bordering the river (just electric with a full water tank) and a few nights in the island spot with full hookups. The only downside was the traffic noise from hwy 93, but even that was manageable when you take in to account the prettiness of the River and park itself.
This is our new go to spot when we’re in the Missoula area.

i loved my stay at this little shady campground on the Jocko River. the bathrooms and showers were very clean with plenty of hot water. i loved fishing in the stream. Site #5 is a good one on the stream. Picnic table, fire pit, electric, dump station and wifi. the cell signal is good as you’re 2 mins from the town of Arlee. The only negative is the proximity to highway 93, but the noise dies down at night.

Beautiful flowers....but.
Do not use this for dumping with a bumper pull rig. We made it but road is nattow & needs trimmed.
Not enough room to go around the loop safety with our 24' bumper pull.
Had to reposition multiple times (30+). Finally a camper moved his truck out of safety & we got thru.
We just wanted a dump station.
Road in is gravel going under 93 highway bridge.
Marker says 12'9" didn't test it since we're 11'6"

Kathy, the owner, is very nice and keeps this small park clean and managed well. This is land beside her home that she turned into a RV park beside a clear, river stone bottom stream. Right beside the highway, so if the hum of engines bothers you then bring ear plugs. I liked the consistent sound of the vehicles passing by. Rectangle planters with pretty flowers on each picnic table. Small laundry, shower and bathroom

Called the day before and got a site for 29ft camper. Quite a few residents and mostly small sites. The owner was fantastic and accommodated us arriving late. This is behind the owner’s house and the google map locator is not where it is, so call the owner and get directions. 1 mi n of Arlee,mt go left on saddle mountain rd and take right on campground rd. You must cross under a 12ft 9in bridge, so make sure you’re not to tall. Dead ends into her campground. Nice little spot.
