Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on October 25, 2014The nightly rate for 30amp is $35. That said, we paid nothing. The woman who owns the place was at the beach, and the "office" is actually a little antiques shop, the lady running that told us that the owner would call us to ask about a credit card number but she never did. So for $0, it was fine for the night.
However, it's not a great campground in any way. If I had to pick some positives, it would simply be that it's really close to the New River Gorge Bridge, the visitor's center and Fayetteville.
But there are no trees, just a big patch of muddy grass with a lot of permanent residents, some of which are pretty dilapidated.
The maintenance guy and owner (on the phone) were very nice, though, and it was a really quiet park other than US 19 traffic. There are beautiful wooded hills all around, but again, this is just a bit too run down for our taste.
