Beware of Dan... that's the sign that's needed in front of this RV park. Dan is the owner / manager and he's just not the type to be in the hospitality industry. My wife was greeted in this park by Dan saying she was speeding and "only warning next time you are out of here." We have a digital speedometer and my cautious wife was doing 7mph... yes 7. Speed limit is 5, and our vehicles won't even idle that slow.. Then we watched Dan drive around the park warning people who's tire was 2 inches on the grass "move it or you're out of here!" It's kind of hard to tell where the weeds end and the brown grass starts... the funny thing is Dan drives his golf cart on the grass to deliver his hospitable expulsion orders.

When we booked this campground, I expected the amenities of a resort. I expected strong wifi, cable, pool, dog park etc. There is wifi, but they have rules against streaming. The wifi is not very reliable anyway. None of the other amenities were present. It is located near the Fairmont Hot Springs Hotel Resort and campers are given a pass to give them access to swim in the pools there (for a 11-13 dollar fee).
Overall it is an ok campground. We had reliable power 50/30 amp. Sites are not paved, but they are level.
Glad we had a chance to explore nearby Anaconda a former copper smelting operation. About 1/2 of the sites are pull through.
The staff checking in were very adamant about the rules of the park. I don’t understand their rules about keeping equipment off grass, because they didn’t water it and it was mostly dead anyway.
If they want to be a Resort, they should perhaps upgrade some of their amenities and perhaps work on the hospitality angle. We would return and did have a good stay.

"Enter at Your Own Risk" and beware of being treated like an imbecile. We have never been treated so rudely and obnoxiously by the owner of any business for no good reason. Owner "Dan" of this park should go to charm school although I doubt it would do any good. The rules for this park are numerous and you must sign and agree prior to checking in. We were traveling with other couples and it was our idea to stay here as we have many times before. We all arrived at different times and the story from all was the same. Be especially aware of the 5 miles per hour speed limit or you could face eviction.
The park is clean, grass is mostly mowed weeds and water pressure varies from site to site, 20 psi at ours. Wifi was very slow. To top it off NONE of the sites have picnic tables. Also the price for the hot springs pools has gone up substantially and you must go see owner "Dan" for a daily guest ticket to the hot springs. I refused to go in and speak to him ever again or to give him any further business. Sadly we will never be back

The rudest people to deal with, especially an employee/owner named Dan. Do not stay here and do not expect any kind of customer service from this place. Horrible attitude and horrendous manners.
Will never stay here in the future nor recommend this place to anyone!
Not the only RV Park in the area; the owner should be happy to have business and money coming in!! Rude to the max!!
The website claims “Fairmont RV Resort is one of the finest R.V. parks in the northwestern United States.” Not sure we’d agree. Although it was very convenient on our way to Yellowstone. We spent one night and were able to enjoy a Fairmont Hot Springs resort which is about 500 yards walk away. The RV park itself has no grass, no picnic tables but does have full hookup. The pull through space was very long and allowed us to pull the RV through without having to disconnect the tow vehicle.
What used to be grass looks like it has not had any water in a long time.
They also have a very long list of rules!
We enjoyed our soak at the Hot Springs, we chose to eat dinner in the restaurant which was expensive and disappointing.
We would probably not choose this for a long stay.

After seeing all of the reviews online, we were pretty hesitant to go through with our reservation here. We were very wrong in that feeling. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, we thoroughly enjoyed Fairmont RV resort, Jessica and Dan. Sure, they’re strict on the 5mph speed limit, but in all honesty, it’s really not a big deal. It made me feel safe that my kids could run over to the playground and I didn’t have to worry that someone was going to run them over. Our dogs could be off leash in the designated area and we weren’t on edge about cars.
Dan and Jessica were beyond helpful in the store, helping our daughter find just the right spice for dinner and provided lovely farm fresh eggs.
The park is lovely and quiet and relaxing.
I get the vibe that as long as you’re respectful and follow the rules, you’ll get the same in return. Mind blowing, right?
In conclusion, give these folks a chance. We loved our weekend here!

I got a bad vibe when checking in. The owner was very unfriendly and described so many rules. See other reviews.
The next morning, I was walking my dog at the dog park. After my dog finished his business, I went to out on his leash near the entrance of the dog run. The owner of the park comes out of a building and shouts at me, "Aren't you going to pick up after your dog"? I pulled out a bag from my pocket and waved it at him. I told him, "See my bag?" "I am going to pick it up now". This owner commented back, "No you weren't", and then proceeded to walk back into his residence. I did pick up my dog's poop, as always. This owner is watching his guests' every move from his inside surveillance cameras.
Then I read other reviews about this owner and his interactions and aggressive behavior toward his guests. I am now not surprised why Fairmont RV Resort receives negative online reviews. Read them yourself. The angry owner needs lessons in guest hospitality and how to properly run an RV park business. He is rude, obnoxious, has an angry attitude and does not care about his guests. You break one rule and he is in your face accusing you. I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe here. Read other online reviews. This was our third and final stay at this poorly managed rv park.
Don't call this a resort at all. There is no bench outside, lots of mosquitos, and sites are close to each other, along with dogs running around off-leash near the back fence. Of course, I did not observe the owner enforcing the rule that dogs must be on a leash at all times.

Sites are FHU. Range of Pull-thru $40, Back-in $37, Big Rig Back-in $43, Dry $23
Spacious sites, lots of grass, gravel level sites.
Verizon was non existent without my Weboost 4G-M booster. With the booster I got 3 bars but speeds were terrible 2.42/1.66 Mbps down/up.

This was a perfectly nice park. We just stayed one night on our way to somewhere else. The spots were big, the park was clean, there were distant hills for the view. The game room was very nice.
I don't consider this somewhere that I would seek out to go back to again and again, but you won't go wrong if you stop here.
