“good hospitality & clean bathrooms”
Welcome to Tumbling Waters, family owned and operated. We pride ourselves on good hospitality & clean bathrooms! No matter the reason for coming, we will be the reason you don't want to leave. We’re off the beaten path in a valley that is home to Panther Creek. Although, small enough to be a secret, big enough to have multiple repeat customers and advertise by word of mouth. Are you looking for a vacation spot that is definitely a “home away from home?” Then spend your time here in our neck of the woods.

We stayed to be close to Nantahala Rafting excursion. Good access road. FHU but only 30A power which was no problem. Very nice owner (Joe) and spacious site for our 38’ Class A. Fantastic Trout pond onsite to catch and Kobe will even clean them for a small fee. Nothing beats fresh fish cooked over open fire. There is even a small church area on property used for Sunday service and a few small cabins to rent. Clean facilities. A great place to bring grandkids next time.

This is a quite friendly place to stay. 80 percent of the campground is long term campers. The owners are amazing. Our issue was the smell of the water in the showers, rotten egg sulfur smell. The trout pond is well stocked and they had a great taste. We will definitely come back again to unplug from the world.

Our truck engine blew up when we arrived they did everything they could to help us! Drove us to Murphy to get a rental car. Offered to help any way they could! The sites double wide and grassy. Trout creek runs thru the campground campers were fishing and catching everyday. They have a stocked trout pound that you pay to fish. Very nice experience!!!

Beautiful, easy access little campground tucked in between mountains and a bubbling trout creek. Full hook ups for our 35 ft class A with toad in VERY spacious site. Hosts Joe and Carolyn invited us to a chili cook off and accommodated every need. Spent an afternoon trout fishing in their pond (they clean catch) and had a delicious trout dinner one night. Easy access to local attractions. VERY child and family friendly. Clean bathrooms and showers with a washer/dryer on site for guest use. This place is a gem!
