This incredible space age bank was built back in 1966. It was originally a part of a set of spacey banks, but its twin has since been demolished, unfortunately. You can still bank here. There's a drive through and a small lobby. The bank's real name is the Alma Exchange Bank and Trust. If you are a science fiction fan or one who loves the unusual, take a stop and check out this awesome work of art. One seriously cool photo op!

This place is amazing! I was driving through in 2014 on a solo road trip to VA from FL and just had to make a screeching stop and u-turn to go back and see this gem! Well worth the trip alone, along with all of the other Route 1 roadside gems along the way.
