Ended up staying here after navigating Iowas numerous detours. There are basically 2 campgrounds: one on the south side of the lake that have full hookups, but are close together. And the other which is spaced out along the north side of the lake, which has more shade, but only electric and water.

Everything from the sites to the restroom/shower house appeared well taken care of. There were two swim beaches that received no swimmers (and it was hot!), but there was a lot of fishing activity. I believe most of the folks here were area locals.

This is a beautiful, well-kept park. We are here out of season, so we are the only campers. It has a hiking trail around the lake. The sites are too close if they were full.
