Born out of our love for fine wines and delicious spirits, Haunting Whisper, LLC has become a great location for enjoying the sweet nectar of NH handcrafted wine & spirits. We have been producing product at our location in Danbury, NH since 2005 and serving the public since 2009.
We continue to challenge ourselves to produce high-quality products to be enjoyed by all. The wine maker Erin Wiswall, PhD in BioChemistry with full certification from UC Davis in the study of Enology & Viticulture has taken great care to produce world class wines & spirits.

Cute - tiny brewery that has 6 beers on tap rotating. Limited seating but the beer quality is very good. The owners (a family) are incredibly friendly and care deeply about the product and the customers. They serve flights and growlers to go. Worth a visit. Located about 10 minutes off of I-93

Welcome to our Eatery! We offer a variety of charcuterie, cheese, and salami plates, as well as flatbreads, paninis, sandwiches, and salads. You can enjoy these dishes with a glass, half carafe, or carafe of Hermit Woods wine in our Eatery or on our deck. We also have locally brewed beers from small craft breweries in NH available. Our Tasting Room and Tours
We love to share our passion for and knowledge of winemaking with our winery guests, making our tasting room fun and educational for both new and experienced oenophiles. Guided wine tasting (daily, no reservations required): $18.00 – Choice of 6 – 1 oz pours and conducted at the tasting bar, and you become a “Club Member For The Day,” entitling you to 20% off our wine by the bottle or glass, among other things.
Black Bear Vineyard & Winery spans 18 acres of beautiful rolling hills in Salisbury, New Hampshire and is one of the largest vineyards in the state. Enjoy secluded tours through our vineyard, chill out at our stone patios and outdoor fireplaces, or try some wines in our unique tasting room. We grow 7 varieties of estate wines, including 4 white wines, 3 red wines and several unique blends. We’ve even won several awards!
We’re located just 20 Minutes from Concord, NH, 15 minutes from Tilton, NH, and about 2 minutes from the Daniel Webster Birthplace.

Muster Field Farm Museum & The Matthew Harvey Homestead An 18th Century historic homestead featuring restored farm buildings and a working farm in beautiful North Sutton, New Hampshire Walk the historic grounds of the Muster Field Farm Museum and see the sights including our working farm and restored farm buildings. Self-guided tours are always available. Enjoy a picnic while taking in the beautiful scenery. Children can visit the farm animals, play on the swing set, and roam to their heart's content.
Farm Stand Once early vegetables arise, the Farm Stand opens. Fresh seasonal produce, locally made honey, and greeting cards are available for purchase daily, usually from mid-June through the season’s last harvest, usually in late October. Farm Stand hours are typically 10:00 am - 6:00 pm.
The Gardens The gardens are ever-changing and a favorite spot for local artists who wish to capture the breathtaking beauty & old-fashioned aura of a time gone-by.
Trails In winter, we have marked cross-country ski and snowshoeing trails that criss-cross our beautiful woods and fields.
Homestead Tours For 2023, on select Sundays, 1:00 - 4:00 pm, docent-led tours of the Homestead are offered. Join your enthusiastic host for an exploration of the history of the building and its inhabitants that can be (and almost always is) adjusted to suit your specific interests.
