A leaf-peeper’s dream come true, this winding route requires a slow pace. The full splendor of the changing leaves is best enjoyed in late September and the month of October. As you drive along the east side of the Green Mountains, you’ll pass through 33 quaint towns and villages and plenty of spots for treats and cider.
