Santa Fe Trail sites near Lyons

The Little Arkansas Crossing and related sites are located 5 miles south of Windom KS. Go 5 miles south of the Highway 56 & Plum St/31st Ave road junction and then ½ mile west on Avenue P and turn left into the Camp Grierson park and cemetery on the east side the river. The other sites are then on west and north from there except Swanson’s Swales which are back north ½ mile on Plum St/31st Ave & west 1/3 mile of the farm driveway where the swales are just to the south by the marker. Ave P is also 15 miles north of 30th Street in Hutchinson, KS.
