Trip to celebrate Bob's 45th reunion at the Academy and we are also bringing in our grandson, Gavin who is a senior this year and just turned 18!! Happy Birthday, Gavin!
Bob and I will be leaving from the cottage about 1000 after we pick up our rental car and pack it up!

Our first stop for the night will be Hampton Inn in Orangeburg, SC. Will be a long day so Hampton, please don't let me down!!
Congaree will be very early and we'll be fresh so hopefully we can see it quickly but enjoyably before leaving and heading North for our next adventure filled stop!!
Next will be Hanging Rock St Pk. in Danbury, NC. Beautiful and probably a pretty quick stop!! Then on to our next night after a lonnnggg day!
Next morning up and ready to sightsee some more we'll stop first at Luray Caverns in Luray, VA. I'm not a fan of caverns but this one appears to offer a bit more than the ordinary.....We shall see!!!
Right close by is the Shenandoah NP also in Luray, VA. Can't wait to see this beautiful place!
Next stop will be Harpers Ferry National Historic Park! Been here but would love another peak! Wonderful and full of history!!
Got to make a quick pick up at the airport for our birthday boy, Gavin!! He'll join us for the next few days and then we'll bring him back through on our way back home and fly him back to his mom in CO. Hopefully having had the time of our lives in Annapolis!!!

And, we are now arriving at Annapolis, MD and will be staying with a wonderful friend of ours, Jody!!! Can't wait to see her and her furry little family! Bob and Gavin will do the reunion while Jody and I will do downtown Annapolis!! Sounds like a divide and conquer scenario to me!! Fun to be had! I'm ready!!!
Time to go home but not the same way we came!!!
