One of our bucket list goals is to see all 50 states. This trip was to visit one state that we had not yet visited, Delaware. Traveling 2,018 miles, we covered 6 states, crossed the Chesapeake Bay twice by bridge and tunnel, we crossed the mouth of the Delaware by Ferry from Lewes to Cape May NJ. We saw and photographed several lighthouses, experienced different beaches. Three state capitals were visited, we read and heard much about the revolutionary and civil war in our stops, visited mansions built in the late 1800s and early 1900s, three US President homes and grave sites and strolled through several beautiful gardens. Pieces, parts or perhaps all of this road trip could please any travel palate.

Winston-Salem, NC, United States

Our home of 26 years and worth anyone's visit. Much to do, see, experience and great local restaurants and craft breweries. Not to mention the Yadkin Valley Wine Region

Enjoyed visiting the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. They have a very large rose garden. Spring would be amazing with the number of azaleas planted on the grounds.

This was the best way to see the size and scope of the Norfolk Naval Base. Because of COVID, there are no base visits at this time.
