Long awaited RV road trip to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons - taking in as much as we could along the way!
Cold Spring, Minnesota, United States
This is our home base.
Great little campground, very friendly. Tight spaces.
Great day trip. Went on a few short hikes.
Had a few beers and an app - sat out side due to COVID.
The first KOA in the US! Stayed only one night. Very nice - cleanest campground I've ever seen. Lots of kids and activities.
Thirsty Street, because it’s on 30th street.
Around 90F here so wanted something light and refreshing. Enjoyed the Whitetail wheat.
I would almost consider this a dive brewery 🤪 however they do have a good selection though.
Drove by this as we still had the trailer and NO PARKING. Get there early and if you see a spot nab it!
Great spot on Lake Hebgen - although the drive into Yellowstone gets to be far after a few days.
Awesome place right on the lake.
Super busy place - had a great meal right at the bar (in the rear).
Plan on at least 2 hours here - parking is limited. Grab the first thing you see!
Another location with limited parking. Be sure to walk around the corner.
Expect Bison backups. Plan bio breaks!
Enjoyed the drive around the west side.
Some great geysers here - we saw many Elk just laying in the nearby woods. Bathrooms are pretty nasty.
Some interesting sights here - take your time! No dogs please!
