Park by the picnic grounds and hike the Wildflower Trail in early May to see Virginia bluebells carpeting the forest floor. The level trail winds along the north branch of the Whitewater River. ♦ Look and listen for a variety of resident and migratory birds during the summer.

Hike Chimney Rock Trail for a scenic view of the Whitewater River, or take the Meadow Trail for a more accessible hike surrounded by dramatic bluffs.
