The Hi-Line in Montana is anywhere around and above Highway 2. It is an often underrated drive because people think it's "boring", but if you take the time to appreciate it, it can be one of the most beautiful drives in Montana! You get to see everything from the mountains of Western Montana to the real "Big Sky Country" of Eastern Montana. Fields of farmers, wildlife, the Montana Dinosaur Trail, etc can all be found along the Hi-Line!
Most people start their journey of the Hi Line in Glacier or Williston. Kalispell and Whitefish are two great towns, with good food and fun little shops!
Even if you don't plan on staying in Cutbank, you need to stop at this Inn to check out the giant penguin! Trust me- you'll see when you get there!
Havre Beneath The Streets is one of my favorite stops! It's a must do if you have the time!
Sleeping Buffalo is a great place to take a rest on your journey! Go for a few hours and enjoy the hot springs, or stay overnight! Recently redone and is really nice!

In a somewhat recent study, Glasgow Montana was named the Official Middle of Nowhere! Not that the locals mind, we like it that way! Check out the Middle Of Nowhere Sign and stroll the fun shops!
Eugenes Pizza is the BEST pizza in Montana (trust me- we voted, several years in a row), and it's one of the top pizza joints in the US! My favorites are Arly's, Taco, and BBQ Chicken! Mingle with the locals and watch in delight as your pizza dough gets thrown up the wall!
Love dinos and history? The Fort Peck Interpretive Center has it all! Fort Peck is home to the largest hydraulically earth filled dam on Earth, and it took a lot to dam that big Missouri River! It's a free museum, be sure to take a Powerhouse Tour while you're there too!
How long has it been since you've seen a live play with professional actors? Some people never have! Check out the Fort Peck Summer Theater where local actors and professionals get to be on stage together! The plays differ year to year, so check the website for what's playing while you're there!

About 3 miles east of the Fort Peck Dam is what is commonly mistaken as the dam- the Fort Peck Spillway! It is worth the short drive out here to walk across the spillway and admire the views! It has been under construction since the 2011 flooding, but many parts of the walkways are beginning to open back up so you can get all the views!
Bergie's Homemade Ice Cream is no longer located in Nashua, but in Glasgow! It is for sure worth a stop, plus they have more than Ice Cream!
