"Breakfree Alexandra Beach Resort "

Alexandra Headland, known by the locals as 'Alex', is a small coastal community complemented by the soothing rolling surf and inviting beaches. This Sunshine Coast town is also fringed by Mooloolaba, Buderim and Maroochydore with a superb coastal sweep to the north and bush setting foothills to the west.

Centrally located just across the road from the beach and designed around a 150m tropical lagoon pool, BreakFree Alexandra Beach offers a great location for great value in the heart of the Sunshine Coast.

The resort has a range of accommodation options to choose from including Studio, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments as well as a great position and onsite facilities to keep you and the kids entertained. With two heated pools and spas, gymnasium, childrens playground and barbecue facilities, you will always have plenty to do. Kids will love the big waterslide into the huge lagoon pool.

"Noosa River Walk"

The river provides a beautiful spot to walk, There are paths through the park and in some spots like the one below a small beach on the banks of the river. The park is not that small either with plenty of space for picnics and BBQ’s. There were spots with play equipment for the children. Also if you were looking for fish and chips for dinner there were a few options right on the water’s edge as well.

"Noosa Main Beach "

Noosa Main Beach: One of the few beaches along Australia's coastline that faces north. This beach is the best option for families or those who are not confident in the surf, as it has gentle waves and is patrolled year-round by surf lifesavers. This is also the best place to take a surf lesson if you're a beginner, as you don't have to contend with big surf. With moderate waves and safe for swimming all year round, Main Beach is only steps away from famous Hastings Street shopping, accommodation, restaurants and bars - take a seat at a beachfront table at one of the many restaurants that line the Main Beach boardwalk and enjoy the view

"Noosa National Park Walk"

The Noosa Coastal Walk starts at the Noosa Headland day-use area located at the end of Park St. The first 1.2 km of the walk (to Dolphin Point) is sealed and suitable for strollers. Even if you aren’t doing one of the walks, it’s a nice place to visit with shaded areas, wildlife, BBQ’s, toilets and a pretty ocean backdrop. There is also a cafe and an information centre that doubles as a gift shop.

Getting a car park here is mission impossible unless you arrive early. One alternative is to walk 1km along a coastal boardwalk from Hastings Street but unfortunately, getting a park on Hastings Street can sometimes be difficult too.

The Boiling Pot The first point of interest on the Noosa Coastal Walk is called the Boiling Pot. At only 300 m into the walk, the path to this section is also suitable for wheelchairs. There is some nice views of the Great Sandy National Park and Tea Tree Bay, which is your next point of interest.

Tea Tree Bay Tea Tree Bay is popular with surfers and you will pass many people carrying their boards on this walk. As you get closer to Tea Tree Bay, make sure to look up as this is the best section to spot a koala or two. There is some signage along the path to remind you!

The toilets located nearby are your last chance to go for a while. Tea Tree Bay is really lovely and has a nice stretch of sand. You will absolutely have an urge to sit on the sand or rocks and watch the surfers for a while.
