First stop is Bordalsgjelet Gorge. It is easy to find 5min away from Voss. There is 3 view points, do not miss one of them! The water flow is incredible.
Not far from Voss, there is the first waterfall of many. The parking spot is at the top of it. You need to walk to the bottom in order to see it fully. The parking at the bottom is only for disabled persons. The height of this waterfall is 150m
This one is more crowded. Its height is 46m, not that impressive, but the entertaining part is : you can walk behind it! Well worth a detour!
Jondal, Hordaland, Norway
Target point of the first ferry that we take on our road trip.
This one can be seen from the road. There is no easy way to approach it. Its height makes it impressive even from far away : 325m
Låtefossen waterfall is one of the most famous waterfall of Norway. It is definitly one of my favorite. Height : 165m
With a total drop of 612 metres, Langfoss is the fifth highest waterfall in Norway. It is ranked #1 on my list! The fjord around it makes it even more beautiful. It is possible to hike to the top of it if you are in a very good physical condition.
Impressive bridge that starts with a tunnel and ends with another one. On each tunnel there is a roundabout. It was the first time that I saw one in a tunnel. This bridge shortens the driving time between Oslo and Bergen. It is the longest suspension bridge in Norway.
The photo is not the right one (this is Voringfossen). Måbødalen is on the way to the waterfall. You should stop few times on the road to look at the view to valley of Måbødalen.
It is perhaps the most famous in the country and a major tourist attraction. The only way to look at it is from above and it can be very dangerous because at some place, there is no fence and you can fall easily. It has a total drop of 182 meters.
