The kids worked hard this semester to earn a good behavior vacation. We will take a drive out to Florida - and once again pass the Tennessee capital but depending on timing may or may not see the Capitol. We will stay at the Legoland Beach Resort from July 23rd until July 26th then head back via the Florida State Capitol in Tallahassee.

The kids loved this hotel. They said it felt like a mansion, and they were impressed by the black and marbled decor. It also has a "fancy" restaurant downstairs

Our visit of the "Capitol" of Florida was outdoor only - we didn't stick around for it to open because everyone was excited to start on the way to Legoland!
We must have missed something here. It was incredibly expensive for an experience that was half what we had in Huntsville, AL. When I shared our experience with others - there was a whole section of this center we missed. It was very sparse and no one helped us to find fun things to do. When we left disappointed it felt like we payed a couple hundred dollars for a rocket shaped play area. :(

AMAZING! The kids and I had an amazing time at the resort and the park - even with the odd rain delaying rides there was plenty to do. We can't wait to come back again sometime!

Chattanooga Choo-Choo hotel was amazing as well. We stayed in a traincar and while many people post about the lack of heat or whatever we did not experience one negative thing. It was awesome to stay in a piece of history and the train station was refurbished to be a friendly, fun place to stay.
