My sister, father and I have been dying to get out of North Carolina. We are two young women and an old army man who need to see the greatest parts of the US of A. My dad has only traveled for work, which means staying in Missouri, etc. in an underground bunker for training. I've only been to three states (NC, SC, VA). Save us from our unworldliness.
This being where Taylor Swift owns a house is reason enough to go check it out. However, the music, history and bars certainly help. The Bluebird Cafe where Taylor Swift and countless other singers have been discovered is a must for me. Can you tell I love Taylor Swift?
I have cousins who live in NOLA that I haven't been able to visit for the longest. Also, there's something exciting about the thought of eating a whole, fried, disgusting crawfish. Also, the music. 'Nuff said.

I want to see the bright green aliveness of the world in Portland. Just look at that! Wouldn't you be happy to freeze to death in that waterfall? I would. Or just to look at it from far away and freeze. Portland is so weird. I want to go live the dream of the 90s that is alive in Portland.
