I used to think that traveling and seeing the incredible was only reserved for destinations outside of America. However, after looking at hundreds of possible destinations thanks to Roadtrippers, I have discovered a newfound love and yearning for wander within the borders of this great country! The five places I have chosen, to me, are the most breathtaking places this country has to offer, and I hope that one day I can see the beauty with my own eyes.
Havasu Falls is located in one of the wonders of the world, Grand Canyon National Park. It's no wonder that Havasu Falls happens to be within this great park! It's majestic blue waters are just begging travelers to seek hydration and relaxation during their extensive hiking!
Some of the greatest musicians have performed in this wonder-filled amphitheater. I have watched many live performances via recordings, but have yet to actually visit and hear the music firsthand. It has been a dream of mine for many years.
I am a sucker for mountains, and these peaks nearly take the grand prize. Walking on the gravel of such majesty would be an incredible thing as I would reminisce on the hikes I took through the Highlands of Scotland.
You cannot be American and not make one visit to Yellowstone. It has always been on my bucket list.
Words escape me when I think of Glacier National Park. God's beauty is in every square inch of this great land and I hope that one day I get the opportunity to adventure through all that it has to offer!
These are the top 5 destinations that I wish to see if I am fortunate enough to win this amazing prize. This trip is a pipe dream, and will probably always be a pipe dream, but it is my dream. I dream I will hold near and dear to my heart until I have the means to satisfy the wanderlust inside of me - even if that means I have to wait 10, 20, or even 30 years to do so.
