Skiing and boating. Bike trails and blackjack. Ice skating and bar hopping. Whatever your passion, Tahoe South does it right.
The first place we stopped was Sugar Pines Point State Park. It had a wonderful selection of trees and we even saw a baby seagull. It was pretty much the raddest place ever.
Next, we walked to a castle in the middle of nowhere! The Vikingsholm Castle sits right at the end of the Rubicon trail.

And, just as the rain started to fall, we pulled into town: Welcome to Truckee!
We pretty much ate dinner in a 1940s diner. Jax at the Tracks was like no other restaurant in the area.
Finally, we hit the bed for some well-deserved rest.
It was a wonderful trip. I can’t believe it took us so long to finally take it!
