Demänovská Cave of Liberty

National Natural Landmark Demänovské on the northern side of the Low Tatras is the longest cave system in Slovakia. Its landmarks include the cave of freedom, which for many years enchants visitors rich sinter filling of various colors, mysterious underground stream Demänovka and enchanting lakes. Is the most visited cave in Slovakia. The cave is located 13 km south of Liptovsky Mikulas in the Low Tatras, on the right side Demänovska valley, a few miles below the famous ski resort Jasna. Serpentine trail from the parking lot to the cave is about 400 altitude of 67m. The walk to the cave takes 10-15 min. On the ascent route is a nature trail.
