Overview
Tombstone is a city in Southeast Arizona. Along with Deadwood, South Dakota, Tombstone was America's most storied town in the wild frontier days, and was the haunt of such notable characters as Doc Holiday, Wyatt Earp, and various cattle rustlers and outlaws.

- The famous gunfight at the O.K. Corral did NOT occur at the O.K. Corral. When the Earps and the Clantons shot it out in Tombstone, Arizona in 1881, their famous battle took place in a vacant lot between Fly’s Photograph Gallery and the Harwood house on Tombstone’s Fremont Street.
- Wyatt Earp was neither the town marshal or the sheriff in Tombstone, Arizona at the time of the shoot-out at the O.K. Corral. His brother Virgil was the town marshal, who had temporarily deputized Wyatt, Morgan and Doc Holliday prior to the gunfight.
- Bob Dylan wrote a song named "Tombstone Blues" that appears on the album Highway 61 Revisited.
- According to Guinness, the world's largest rosebush was planted in Tombstone in 1885 and still flourishes in the city's sunny climate.
- On July 3, 2009, the Birdcage Theatre in Tombstone, was investigated for paranormal activity by the Travel Channel series Ghost Adventures crew.
