So screwed up. You can actually see the handprint, what exactly it is I don't know but there is defiantly a handprint on the wall. It's also an amazing historical building, so whether you like ghosts, history, or both you'll love it here.

Great looking jail- OLD! The tour was a video with poor sound quality and then a guided tour by a young boy of about 10. He was knowledgeable but I had trouble hearing him, especially through the mask (darn covid). The cells and gallows were super cool, the handprint.... meh. They’re saying they cant get rid of it but then say no photos to preserve it. I think they just want to preserve the $5 photos of it in the gift shop. Despite all this, if you love history it’s worth it. Parking not rv friendly.
