We got here around 4pm on Saturday Labor Day weekend (Aug 31st, 2024). It was very quiet, only a few boats in the lake. We parked right by the lake. It is self-pay, now it is $15. We know people who reviewed it 2 years ago said it was $10. But $15 is still a great bargain. The park is located 7 miles outside of Havre, which definitely worth the extra drive to get to this park for camping. If you type in Beaver creek park in GPS it says 15 miles, but once you see the sign of the park you can start to look for a park spot, so you do not have to drive extra miles. We will definitely stay here again

Travelling west on US Hwy 2, this park was well worth detouring 10 or 15 miles out of our way. The scenery is beautiful and what foresight for the people of Havre to have set aside this significant acreage for the enjoyment of the community and travellers from away! Small campgrounds are scattered along the highway that bisects the park, most i(f not all) offering primitive sites but the outhouses were clean and well-maintained and the sites were well laid-out. We saw no staff, but pay locations were clearly marked, as was garbage disposal.

The Beaver Creek County Park is huge and we just stayed in one section of it. Beautiful Lake with at least 4 sites available, boat launch, pavilion. There was a water spigot and outhouse at our site, though we didn't use it. The park is amazing and is a great resource for many needs. The only down side is that there were a lot of bugs.
