We have stayed here twice, first just for a night and then for a week when we needed to be near Chicago but had some time up our sleeves. Great price for the facilities. No sewer hook up, but dump easy to get to and they lend out amp converters for free to convert fron 50 to 30. Look for signs in the carpark, check in is a little confusing as you actually go into the hotel to check in. Staff were very friendly but make sure you mention you are a Good Sam member for the discount.
Free WiFi that actually worked, gets a massive thumbs up from us.
Campground, laundry and bathhouse clean. But our favourite thing is the splash pad and the indoor pool (which is in the hotel). Free use for both, great on a hot day.
The restaurant nearby the village is nice for take out, we never dined in but imagine it would be good. The village is interesting to take kids through. Check out any deals, we took our kids there for free on Sunday afternoon and paid only for ourselves.
You can also eat at the buffet for breakfast at the hotel. There are also markets on one afternoon, which we bought honey and some produce as well as snow cones that were Stevie and non artificial colour flavoured.
Near lots of little towns, where we found a supermarket and church to attend. Not sure what else, if much is in the area.
We also had a family member stay in the hotel for a few nights, very clean and also well priced.

Gravel pad just wide enough for our trailer and longer than our trailer and tire vehicle.
Picnic table and fire ring.
Paths to walk plus the adjacent historical village. Splash pad for children opens Memorial Day.
Cheif's Grocery store about 9 miles east has great selections.
Goll Nature Preserve about 5 miles west offers over 3 miles of trails.

We were driving through and found this gem out in the middle of what feels to be 'nowhere', yet there is a restaurant on site. Surrounded by farmland, train whistles in the distant background - - just lovely. There is a 2 mile walking trail in a wetlands, other paths to take, as well, one connecting to CG to the nearby town of Archibold. Splash pad, playground, outdoor amenities for kids and adults and ability to use the hotel facilities during specific hours (pool, hot tub). Quiet location, some shaded spots, mostly level. Nice bath house - terrific wifi and cell connection. Highly recommend for an overnight or longer.

Very nice campground. Sites were spacious. Very quiet. We were there when Sauder Village was closed. It’s only open Wednesday through Sunday.
We spent our very first night in a motor home here. We found the campground to be easy to get to, clean, and peaceful. Occupancy was low when we visited. We enjoyed fishing in the pond (so pretty), and playing in the lawn area on our site. The trains could be heard in the distance at night and the rooster was up in the morning, but it all added to the fun. We even grabbed coffee from the hotel (walkable from our site) in the morning. A great first experience all around!
