Stayed at Apache Family Campground last week. I camped there many times back in the seventies and it is still as good as ever. Everyone from security, front desk and others were super nice. Weather was perfect. We were 3 spots from beach with full hook ups. The rate was sixty but they do military and GoodSam discount so I paid 57.00. There is a resturant, pier, arcade, pool, 2 shopetts (one by the pool and one on the pier) If you move mobility issues you can rent a golf cart for 50.00 for 24 hours but the cart rental closes at 5pm so get there be for they close. The access to the pier is stairs and ramps, so accessible to folks with mobility issues. Resturant is on pier level but has carryout. Unfortunately we did not eat at resturant because it was closed the night we were there. I do plan to go back soon and check out everything.

My wife came down with medical issue after receiving her second Covid-19 vaccine and was admitted to the hospital for a week. She has been out of work for over a month. I called the Campground to explain our issue and would not refund our full reservation of $75.00 but $50.00. They said they would have keep the reservation open for another available time up to 1 year. No exception oh by the way I canceled 4 days in advance.

Unacceptable during these times...We have never been Apache Family Campground and was recommended by a close friend....they are not happy. Now, they have my $25 and another reservation can fill that spot. It was a nice spot too. Posting this on every site possible.

Loved how family friendly this campground is. We booked for 3 nights, but decided to extend our stay for a week. The pool is clean. Golf cart rentals and the site we stayed at was only steps away from the beach. Definitely will be planning to come back.

We stayed here for New Years, but we will not be back. I'll make a list of pros and cons below.

Pros:
Close access to beach
Pier for sightseeing and fishing

Cons:
Very tight spaces
Noise ordinance - but is not enforced until 11pm, no exceptions
Rude employees
Golf carts allowed on beach
