Swimming pool, shaded sites, level, EZ in & out. WiFi was typical CG quality, but sufficient. Park personnel very helpful & friendly. CG is located off the beaten path, but there is an older IGA (supermarket) a few miles down the road where you can find necessities. Small pond for catch & release. Nice quiet place to hang out for a few days.

We stayed here while waiting to close on our new house in Leland, NC. The place is kind of out of the way from things, Walmart is about 25 minutes away. But... the beautiful fields, gardens, and hardwood trees make it very peaceful. We visited during COVID pandemic and felt very safe using washing machines and dryers. There is a nice pool (we didn’t use), horse shoe pits, volleyball are, nice covered deck to lounge on, dog runs, and a winery (we didn’t go in).

Arrival and check in are very easy. The sites are level, well spaced, and mostly pull through. We had 65 and it was very easy in and out. I liked that the trees were not clear cut to make room for the campground. It’s a really pretty setting. Bathrooms were nice and clean. The wine tasting room also had jellies, preserves, and sauces for sale. Great place to stock up during your travels.
One of our favorite places for seafood is the town of Calabash, a short 20 minute drive from the campground. This made for a convenient stopover on our way down the east coast. My only slight knock was low cell phone signal, but that’s not a huge deal unless you happen to need it for work. Our signal was back and forth between 1 bar and 2 bars. I would imagine a booster would work quite well here.
We would definitely stay here again!

If you’re looking for a resort feel, this isn’t the place. However, if you are like my family, a campground among the trees is what you’re looking for! This campground is clean, and is nestled in the woods behind the beautiful winery. PS: Don’t leave without doing a wine tasting!

Off the beaten track , quiet, vineyard. Shady , long enough for our truck and trailer. Good power, normal chlorinated city water. Pick your site carefully. We just experienced heavy rain, and more coming, some sites flooded...site 75 was the worst, 76 was 2nd and site 69 was 3rd .... But most of the others are minimal puddles. Just need more gravel ??
Wifi and cell worked better with our boosters, Would stay here again.
