The campground sites are down in a valley,on the Hocking River. Nice view of, and right on the river. Sites only have electric, but there are two city water spots for filling jugs and a dump station on a hill (who came up with that?). There was no check-in, just go to your site. They have Wi-Fi but at our end of the park (west) we got no signal. Only had occasional cell signal from Verizon.
Small rigs might be OK, but larger ones will be a tight fit.

Every site is pull-through with electric only, and every site is on the Hocking river. Beautiful and quiet (we stayed during the week and it wasn’t crowded at all), except for the occasional train noise from the tracks across the river. The bank is a little steep, but there are places where you can get to the water and we saw several people dragging kayaks in and out.
The sign on the road says “Logan Conference Center RV Park”. There is no camp office or store, and no check-in process, you just call or use the website to book your site and set up. There’s a shower house that’s pretty large and mostly clean. It has a lock code that will be emailed to you after you make your reservation.
We absolutely loved our stay here and would come again.

Use the GPS coordinates provided! The street address takes you to the conference center across the street and down the road. The sign on the road says “Logan Conference Center RV Park” NOT Hocking River RV Park! The entrance is very steep down hill but I think the exit route is better, it might look scary to a new RVer.

Near the water clean campground. Open bay showers and toilet. Right down the road from Kroger and town. Quite and relaxing. I enjoyed my stay.

No check-in office on site. Bathhouse has a keycode to enter, all details are emailed to you when you make your reservation.
Entance to park is gravel and a bit steep.

**Go past the map directions 1/4 mile & look for “Logan Conference Center RV” sign on right.**
Early May, so only 3 others in campground. Peaceful, there is some road noise.
In area to explore Hocking Hills State Park & Hopewell Culture National Historic Site.
Didn’t use bathhouse as we are self-contained. Looked in need of a good cleaning.
Good water, awkward dump station at top of a hill.

In an era where it seems like campsites are getting over commercialized and being gobbled up by corporations to jack up the rates and maximize profit, this campground is an old school breath of fresh air.
Basic, level sites with electric. Water available to fill up. Bathrooms were fairly new and in good shape. Located right on the Hocking River.
The entrance in a big rig might be a little tricky. I was in my truck camper so no trouble.
I'll definitely be back when I visit my daughter at school nearby.

At first the site was confused and we had to unhook and redo, not our fault the previous people put 2 tables on our site and it wasn’t fixed before we got there. But luckily we weren’t trying to do this in the dark and everything worked out fine. It was a very busy weekend for sweetest day and fall foliage but we booked the week before and we’re so happy we did. The spaces are tight but you have nobody behind you.
Everyone was quiet.

Don’t know why they don’t run water to the sites, I can see why they don’t do sewer, they would have to pump it up the hill, if the septic system has capacity. Cell reception is one bar for AT&T and Verizon, at least in the middle of the campground, may be better elsewhere. Fire rings are across the road from the sites on the river. As another poster said, do not follow gps.
