This campground can be your base camp for outdoor adventure! Just 15 minutes away, you'll find easy access to the Lamoille Canyon and the Ruby Mountains, often called the Swiss Alps of Nevada. You'll find plenty of hiking, great fishing, skiing, and off-road adventures nearby, with access to more than 20 alpine lakes. Many of our RV sites are long Pull-Thru sites. You can also choose a nice Tent Site. Enjoy the fun with horseshoes, cornhole, and other outdoor activities. There is an on-site bar and grill with a family dining room. The family can enjoy playing on the campground's two pool tables or check email with our free WiFi.

stayed overnight with a 34 ft trailer 2 popouts. site was not wide enough to put out awning and popouts. neighbors sewer line was right outside of our door. all sites are gravel. there is train and freeway noise. park is good for overnight stay but would not recommend any longer. We arrived late and left early so did not meet any of the staff, they were friendly on the phone though.
Sports bar was fun, bartender friendly and loved the slots,,, when they worked.
Clean, close to highway - easy access. Decent size sites - pull thrus. Very friendly. A bit of road noise but we were quite close to the road. Needed a spot after boondocking for a while to dump well and load up on water so decided to just get a spot and this worked fine. Free decent WIFI, clean showers (use a token)

Stayed here because the Iron Horse was full. The sites were spacious an level. The bar, restaurant and showers were all pretty nice, and the staff was helpful. Most of the customers seemed to be long-term residents. The location is just OK.

Spent a week here while exploring Elko and the surrounding area. Friendly staff, very nice bar and restaurant on site. Sites are clean and level, gravel. Full 20/30/50 electric at all sites. No issues with parking, most are pull through sites.
Lots of full timers here; this is a migratory mining town. Monthly folks are separated for the most part from campers.
This is Elko, NV, literally along the transcontinental railroad. You will hear a train horn for the crossing, but this site is up on the hill and not right in the blast zone of the horn.

I had to be in Elko for a few days, it was getting close to sunset and I was about 50 miles away from Elko. I called Double Dice, it was closing for the office staff, when I said I was about 45-50 miles away, she stayed at the office until I arrived. Staff was friendly. Park was clean and well laid out. I stayed for 3 days back in March 2021. Close to shopping, grocery and fuel. It's proxxy to the Interstate and railroad was some noise but not bad.

It’s an rv park that just became a KOA journey. Don’t follow the KOA map directions as it takes you out 3-4 miles out of town. It’s right off the highway about 1 mile. Sites are spacious and easy to park as you would expect for a KOA journey. It’s clean. Their is a bar and restaurant on the property. Seems to have many long term residents or workers in the area. Good spot for an overnight or if you wish to visit the casinos that can be done by foot.

This is a KOA campground now, but isn't KOA quality. To be fair, the rates aren't quite KOA either: only $58. Not sure if it's Elko KOA Journey or Double Dice RV Park.
tl;dr
3 stars for the park, 1 star for the customer service
Net 2 stars
We came in early afternoon on a weekday after Independence Day. Two sites left, and we site #1 because our rig is short. We wanted electricity for air conditioning.
I had forgotten my 30A power cord, but did have my 15A cord. But when I plugged in, the GFCI outlet immediately tripped on every attempt.
I went back to the desk to report the problem. Esther said that no one uses the 20A service, so it was not guaranteed to work. It was only for "boom boxes." I pointed out that my site was advertised as 50/30/20A service. She said that I should use the 50A or 30A outlets. I explained that I didn't have those plugs.
When she repeated that the 20A service was not guaranteed, I asked if I could then get a refund (after parking for 30 minutes in the site). She said she would refund half, but the other half would depend on her talking to her manager, who was not there. Mind you, if we left, I was pretty sure that they would easily re-rent the site due to the holiday week demand.
So, deciding half a loaf was better than none, I asked for the half refund. Then Esther said there would be no refund. I could use the site without electricity, or I could leave without a refund.
That's my 1-star customer service review.
I went to Gateway RV Center [https://www.gatewayrvnevada.com/] and got a 30A to 15A adapter and stayed the night. But won't be back.

Open year around. Clean. Friendly. Easy pull through. Right off I-80. Bathroom/shower heated. Bar is more of a family pub.
