Concrete pads on all very level sites. Some are waterfront, some are pull-throughs and some are standard back-ins at the bottom of the mountain at the back of the park. There are extremely clean and well-maintained facilities here - bathrooms, laundry, dog park, pet washing station, clubhouse, kitchen, pool area, and grounds were all tidy and well kept up. Valet trash pickup happens throughout the day from your site, which is super convenient. They were helpful to me when my awning got stuck open when the motor failed. The maintenance guy came around and helped me get it in manually before a big storm. Nice people who take care of their property and their guests.

There are very nice rigs here. Many big class A motorhomes, nice upscale 5th wheels, and some smaller class C and travel trailers are here as well. Some people seem to set up base here and bring motorcycles to go out riding in the mountains. It's a beautiful area around here, so that makes sense.

Walmart and the more upscale grocery are 1-1.5 miles up the road and Lowes and downtown "old murphy" is about 2-3 miles away. The casino is just across the street if that is what you are looking for. The campground is quiet at night and during the day. Staff is helpful, kind, and busy working on the facility and it shows. Bathrooms always seem freshly cleaned and I saw someone cleaning the rails on the bridge with a brush today, although it did not appear to need it. I suppose it did not appear to need it because it had been recently enough cleaned.

Internet/wifi is available. They use a third party wifi provider called Tengo which seems to provide a usable connection of 3-4.0/.9-1.2 for each device connected to it. There are relatively new wifi routers/boosters run throughout the park that seem to do a good job making the wifi signal balanced in different areas of the park. At our site (34), our AT&T 4g hotspot gets between 8-35 down and 1-7 up, depending on weather conditions and direction pointed. Our AT&T 5g hotspot with a stronger antenna but not quite getting 5g signal here and when pointed towards the casino gets up to 105/9 and usually more around 45/3, which is usable. Tmobile home internet, with its better antenna than most phones and stronger range, gets 25-40 down and .8-2 up at our site on a 4g connection. There is 5g Tmobile in town and it is lightning fast on our phones when we are at a store or restaurant, but the mountains make things a little harder in terms of connecting to the few 5g towers out here. Upload is a bit more of a challenge than download in this area I believe due to the mountains and valley location, but has been fine for streaming Netflix and I have done up to 2 hours straight of video calls without issue, plus general browsing and work. We don't have our booster with us right now, but typically the booster helps with upload so if you have a weboost or similar, this would be a great place to use it. Tmobile phone service requires wifi calling to make calls if the weather isn't completely clear. Tmobile calls were sometimes dropped if not on wifi, but with the park's wifi used for wifi calling usually it was not. I have been told by others that AT&T has good phone service here. Starlink was in use here by at least two sets of campers and staff mentioned that people have been very happy with it. We found our setup of two AT&T hotspots and a Tmobile home internet router very usable. We used their internet for wifi calling when the weather was rainy and as a backup if one of the hotspots went down,

Before coming to Murphy with our rig, I made a quick day trip and checked out the other parks that could be considered their competition (two north of here and one to the southwest) and found that this had the best cellular coverage for AT&T and Tmobile and was the only one whose in-house wifi seemed to consistently work. Also, the facilities in general seemed much better maintained, higher caliber and monthly rates were in the same ballpark. It was a no brainer to pick this park for our extended stay.

I feel safe here when camping here by myself, comfortable going for walks during the day and at night. There are many dogs here and people are friendly.
