The campground is well maintained with clean bathroom and showers. Friendly host. The campground is about 6-7 miles off I 80 and was crowded because of a town fair. We got a tent site but many sites with electric are available. The traffic noise was annoying but quieted down around 11 pm.

Park not officially opened 4/3, but staffer said we could stay and pay by honor system. Various rates for lakeside ($33) with electric, to other electric sites at $28. Tent camping at $22.
Gravel pads, no water at site and none available this time of the year. I haven't spotted the dump station yet. All sites have tall mature tree shading and tables and fire pits.

We stayed at Olson City Park Campground for one night to break up our drive from Wisconsin to Badlands National Park. It was a nice, quiet park for a quick rest!
Spots 1-12 are back-in spots with great unobstructed views of the lake. We snagged spot 21, which is one of the only pull-through spots in the park. It still had pretty good views of the water.
Getting to the park and our site was super easy. The small town of Worthington is only 8-10 minutes away and doesn't have much other than gas, some fast food, and a Walmart. But the lake seemed pretty active and fun if we were staying longer!
Only docking a star because it was super buggy at the campground and EVERYTHING was covered in white fluff from the surrounding cottonwood trees.

Due to massive flooding in eastern South Dakota, we were a couple hours behind schedule and had to find a campsite quickly for the night before it got dark. This campground was close to the interstate so very convenient and the facilities were clean. It was also right on a lake so there was a nice lake view. While the campground was about 80% full when we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised with how quiet the campground was after 10PM. There was quite a bit of noise from the road that ran behind it.
This was not however our style of camping, it is a field with no privacy from other campers. Not complaining at all though, we were very glad to find it.

My wife and I took our last official camping trip of the season this past weekend and ended up camping in Olson Park Campground in Worthington, MN.
Due to the time of year and visiting at the end of the season we just about had the park to ourselves. Only 3 other RVs showed up while we were there.
The campground is right on the southwest edge of town and isn't the quietest due to its proximity to a couple of roads, but this is rural Minnesota, so things quieted down rather quickly after 9pm.
We spent two nights in this campground and really enjoyed it. If you're looking for a nice place to spend a few nights while traveling along I90, this might just be your spot. It has nice views and clean facilities, including showers in the bathrooms and a coin-op laundry. And if you're into disc golf, there is a nice course at the south end of the campground.

Pros-shady, level site with water view, great signal with both Verizon and AT&T, can book here last minute, even on July 4th. Great location right off 90.
Cons- dumpster was overflowing, bathhouse was filthy.
—We walked about 1/4 mile to the boat launch to kayak. Can’t be accessed at site. —

We are on a 3 week road trip and this has by far been the most pleasant surprise. Driving miles and miles or cornfields we get off the highway to find a gorgeous oasis with great hookups and water for just $33 right on the lake. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat and this will become a regular stop for us when driving through the Midwest.

This was an unplanned stay for us, and we are glad we stumbled across this place. Once we arrived, we noticed it was not crowded at all, and some of the lake view sites were vacant. We asked the lady working (who’s name I can’t remember) if we could move to one of those sites. She quickly checked, and gave us the go ahead to relocate. She was extremely nice and helpful! The view was amazing, so we recommend paying a little extra for a lake view site. This campground has electric hookups, but no water. They do have places to fill your tanks, and they sell ice and firewood. Bathrooms and showers were standard for a campground and just fine for us. Huge trees give plenty of shade and sites are about 20 feet apart. We recommend for a quick break from the road.

Beautiful location close to 90. Great for an overnight stop over. Nice flush toilets with shower stalls. The not negative is the road across the lake which runs right past the best waterfront spots.

Stopped here for the night. Arrived around 5pm and was greeted by a friendly smile. Found our campsite and backed right in with no problem. Warm, but nice breeze off the lake. Sites only offer electric but we had water in the tanks, so no problem. Only negative where biting flies right before sunset.
