Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on July 07, 2020We arrived at 930PM on July 5th. The road leading in was gravel but had no serious holes or bumps. Our front wheel drive Camry sedan did fine. There was no fee. We found 2 unoccupied spots. The spot was nicely distanced from the neighboring sites. It had some pine trees separating it from the others. The fire pit had some trash in it (cigarette butts and cups). Looked like someone partied at the site recently and didn’t clean up. We liked how the site felt private and there was space and trees between the sites. The bathroom was kind of gross with toilet paper on the ground but it didn’t smell too bad. There was some noise in the morning due to the local logging business. Also we heard a gunshot a ways away on some private land.

Not much room for biking but the lake is super nice!
Loved being tucked in the forest but neighbors are really close!

Very small (8 site) CG in the forest. No fee. Pack it in, pack it out, but of course people leave trash in the fire rings :( . Sites are well spaced, good for tents. I think max travel trailer size would be maybe 25 ft. It's a better campground for tents, vans. Road is gravel and sites are kind of uneven. Spacing is good. There are trees and brush to offer a little screening from neighbors. Seems like a popular CG for locals. When I was there it was pretty noise with families and children, not peaceful, but it's good to see families out enjoying nature.
The day use area for the lake is adjacent. Small lake good for canoes, paddle boards. Some people were fishing there.
