Reviews
Nice enough campground, especially for kids.
Wifi is a joke. Poor during the week and impossible on the weekend when the camp ground fills up. I was located next to 2 wifi nodes and could not get a reliable connection on the weekend.
Mobile phone service, both ATT and Verizon, is also poor.
Site was neat and clean, well laid out, but neighbors fire pit location was 10 yards away. Windows had to stay closed.
The entertainment Friday night was a loud rock band and Saturday was a drum circle. Glad I had earplugs.

This campground is well maintained with a nice upgraded playground. They have fun activities throughout the year and it’s in a great location!
We were looking for a campground open in winter on our way south and this filled the bill. The water at the site is shut off in the winter, but you can obtain water at the bath house. Your site has sewer and electric.
This is just off the main road, but near the ski area, so you may hear snow guns at night, but we found it not to be too bad.
This is a typical KOA campground that is very family oriented. I would assume during the season this is a very busy and active place. For us the campsites are too close together.
As the other reviewer said, Verizon cell was week, but the campground wifi was fine, but we were close to the office.
My review is based on our winter stay.

I’m not crazy about koa s. But if you like them this place has everything to offer in regards to amenities. Was fortunate enough to have a site in the trees which allowed for separation. I appreciate that they were open during COVID-19 this is why I went there.
All facilities were closed in accordance with social distancing. Sites are really close together.

Still the start of the season, but the campground was ready.
The lower, back area was under construction, with new sites and cabins. It was nice that the construction noise didn't start until after breakfast and was done by supper. In all it wasn't bad from our site, and at the rate they were progressing, things will complete by Memorial Day.
The only negatives in our stay, pull through Sites 65 & 66 need a lot of leveling. The last step from our trailer was a reach once we got things level. Also the Black-water drains were higher than the RV's, so you had to work your dumps down the hose. But there is talk of more up-grades to that area, so we'll see.
Like I said, still early in the season and there were no activities going on, yet. But the Playground and Mini-Golf were open, and it was a nice walk around the grounds.
There are plenty of places to go for entertainment outside of the Campground and hikes, all within a short drive.
I am sure we'll be back.

Dates: June 17 - 28. Really really enjoyed this spot. It was set back in the forest a bit so it was super pretty! It was the first time in my life I had ever seen fireflies (super cool experience). The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The pool was decently sized and they had laundry. The dog park definitely could have been a bit bigger and it was gravel instead of grass. They had a huge playground and just general hangout area for families. Verizon signal was basically non existent but they had excellent wifi. Definitely would stay here again. They had a cow that was like the "camp cow". Some people have said that he was mistreated but I am here to tell you otherwise, that cow is as healthy of a cow as I have ever seen, super friendly too.

We only stayed here as an overnight in early Feb so basically just needed a place to park, plug in and dump, but this was a nice park with a big playground and typical KOA amenities. They had our reservation posted and waiting for us despite the office being closed for the winter. Got the job done...
Note: While the Verizon signal was three bars, bandwidth was iffy. Possibly a single overused tower in the area? That being said, the non-secured CG wireless was actually pretty good.
