Tuxbury Pond RV Resort has one funny feature - half of it is situated in NH, another - in MA :) It's quite neat, common areas are in a good condition. Nice and big pool area, with the two pools (no age restrictions), a big gazebo space with picnic tables. Videos are being shown there on a big screen on weekends, also karaoke, games and other fun stuff being held.
Laundromats are neat, the machines are quite new. Special cards are required to operate them. Our T-Mobile signal was weak. There's free Wi-Fi around the pool and gazebo area, which works well. Here's my short video review: https://youtu.be/mQTqHj9QJKs

ONE word of caution if using google maps.. It will try to take you up to a road called Powow Cove lane you can not get into the resort.. its a dead end road.. (used to be entrance but not now)

when google tells you to turn left at newton RD,, (you "vear" right off Lions Mouth onto Newton Rd.. this is the second place it tries to turn you on Newton Rd to the LEFT),,, GO straight on the unlined road, go slow its a bit rough. entrance sign is up on the left about 1/4 mile.

<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>
So we stayed here for 7 days in june 2020. This is an Encore facility so we used it as of our Trails Collection add on. We had initially planned to stay for the full 14 day (max at encore sites on TC) but decided, before we got there, to only do 7 night. That turned out to be a great idea.

We were assigned a site that was changed according to our paperwork in the mailbox by entrance security gate, you need a card to enter. (which was in the paperwork)

our first site was L-29.. it was a nice site on the right coming in but got moved to L-36.. All teh site along this area are mostly dirt for the most part. They do have 30 amp elec, water and sewer.

this area is where most of the traffic for other site roll through some slower and sum faster, which kicks up the dust.. (no rain in the area for month or so.)

Being it COVID-19 the pool, bath houses, laundry and all public places were close as was the office.

They do seem to have a good supply of stuff to do with the lake, lot of lily pads, and games on site.

Like a lot of campground nowadays there are plenty of full time residents or unit that stay in same spot each year.

The amount of what appeared to be limited spot for transits unit like us was some 20ish or so.. It hard to tell as there are spot open but does not appear to have been used in long while. Most of the weekenders we saw were in our row or close around us.

They do have a dumpster but it a hike up the hill on entrance road off to the left. It appears to be a dumping ground with all kinds of old decks and stuff piled up. :) and 4-5 dumpster but NO recycling at the park. (we recycle more material than we dump so that was a bummer)

This is the only place for TT members to use that is close to Hampton NH area were our friends live. we parked in their backyard for 3 day before coming to this park.

Its a older park with older stuff and like older campground is for he most part OK..

Our neighbor a worker from GA and his wife stayed and was telling me it was like $900 for the two weeks they were there working.. I can tell you this place is not worth no $450 a week for a dirt lot with DUST every day.. but for us TT it was no cost as we did not need 50 amp.

on the other hand did talk to some that love it there.. to each his/her own.. :)

Right on the NH/Mass border--I think my side of the bed fell in Mass, my wife's in NH--it has convenient access to Boston (about an hour away), Maine (40 minutes), and NH beaches (20 minutes). We took a beautiful fall drive on the Kancamagus Highway and ended up going all the way to Vermont (about 300 miles round trip). It paid off to go early--lots of traffic on late Sunday afternoon. Wonderful scenery--our second time to make that trek. Last time we then went to Mount Washington, well worth the trip but go expecting some drama if you go clear to the top, and a price tag as well: we spent $75 for a carload of five.
As for the park itself, a cozy, local feel. A lot of seasonals here and many of the weekenders seemed to know each other. Access to town requires a bit of a tip with the long entrance driveway, then either choosing small town Mass or larger Seabrook about 20 minutes up I-95 (my least favorite Interstate in the world). :)

We arrived with our 44ft toyhauler and we're assigned spot H11, I made it clear with the lady that we were a larger rig and they told me this spot was very big. I started making my way to H11 "up on the hill" and quickly realized I couldn't make the first turn up the hill because the turn was so sharp. The girl came running out and said she didn't realize how big we were?!?! so assigned us a new spot L44. I was told I could loop around another way and head to the new spot. Nope couldn't make that turn either and had to back out about 100 yards to turn around. I later went to see H11 after unhooked and dumping trash and could not belive the condition of the sites and road up on the hill. Tree limbs were almost hitting the roof of just my truck.
We had barely any service with ATT and Verizon so purchased the wifi for a week and it went down for 2 days. I asked the lady in the office after calling her with no callback and she realized that's why her movie wasn't working last night. Lol I asked if a manager or anyone would take care of it and she said I'm sure people are mad and calling fast wave to take care of it. 2 days later it was working again.
This park really needs some gravel laid down with some roadwork and tree trimming done.
It's a typical thousand trails and seems that the annual residents aren't to fond of the younger families staying next to them. The annual neighbor behind L44 setup her dog fence in our site and we had to move chairs out of our site when we arrived to get parked.Other then the items listed it was okay and 45 mins to Boston.

Mostly seasonal. They tried to put be in the back saying the site was big enough. The site may have been long enough but the narrow roads with cars and trees do not leave another space to make the turns. If you are not right up front one the low A’s and are over 35’ have fun backing back out. Cell phone service is horrible in and out. Even with the booster had a hard time getting enough signal to work.

We had tried to book a site at the campground twice through Thousand Trails and were assigned sites that did not fit our fifth wheel. Both times, the campground called us and cancelled because we didn’t fit in the sites that Thousand Trails had put us in. 😳 So, I called Thousand Trails and explained what was happening and was told they couldn’t do anything about it because their system showed we fit in those sites. 🙄 I then called Tuxbury back directly and they told me that they would contact Thousand Trails and let them know their system was incorrect, which they did. I received a call back afterwards from the campground letting me know they had me reserved for the correct site for our RV size. She had told me that this happens often there. We have a 35’ fifth wheel and TT was putting us in sites in section H. These sites are too small and hook-ups are on the wrong side. The correct sites are section J. Section J sites are large pull-through sites and very comfortable. I hope this helps anyone that goes through this scheduling nightmare! Otherwise, the staff was friendly and helpful. The park itself is old and a bit rundown. We were there for over a week in July and grounds were not mown once. It was overgrown and definitely needs some love. They do have a lot of amenities/activities for the whole family. One last note is that this campground is a golf-cart racetrack! Underage kids on golf-carts racing around and yelling a lot at all hours! We’re not sure what it was about and seems to be a frequent issue in New England campgrounds. 😬😬

At the tail end of staying here right now. Our site is quite large and we'll located in the middle near the pool. Hookups were a solid distance away though so you need extensions.

During the day and weekdays, it's been excellent. Nice and quiet, relaxed, etc. On the weekends though it borders on a full on rave in the outdoor area by the office/pool. When I asked if these were Campground activities, I was told it was more of some seasonals putting on their own parties. These parties involved taking over the pool area all day one Saturday and hosting Kareoke and/or dancing on Saturday nights with a seriously inconsiderate level of volume for the music.

I have no problem with people having fun and enjoying themselves, so long as they are considerate of others around them. Whoever these people are who are doing this are not considerate at all. I'm glad I didn't actually pay for my stay due to Thousand Trails, but those managing this place should be more on top of this kind of thing.

The Campground roads need some real work as they are first and have potholes everywhere.

Quiet hours should not start at 11. I feel for others here like us with younger kids who need to go to bed and have to listen to the constant bass bumping into the night. If you are looking to unwind and relax at night, you won't be able to do that on Saturdays here.

It's a shame because outside of this, the Campground was decent. It's close to nearby things to do and pretty easy to get to. The staff seems nice overall as well.

We are at this campground for the Topsfield fair in early October. This place has some decent bathrooms/laundry. The pool looks decent but is closed right now. The sites are good in size for the most part but the roads are terrible. There are events on the weekends like bingo and crafts for the kids which is nice. The camp store is nice.

So overall we like this campground and would come again. We gave the 3 out of 5 stars due to the roads being washed out and narrow. There are many large RVs here but I am not sure how they all made it to their sites.
