There was no nightly rate as we are TT members. The Thousand Trails Hershey RV & Camping Resort is the fifth Thousand Trails Park I've been to and I'd have to say it's the best so far. The staff was friendly and the campground is very well maintained. It would get a 5 star from me if there were internet access worth anything. But hey, you're literally in the middle of a cornfield in rural PA. The setting is gorgeous and we got a great spot in the H loop. The pool was very nice and there were a lot of activities to do throughout the week. There is also miniature golf and a free canoe available to paddle around the lake. The location cannot be beat, about 20 minutes to all the Hershey attractions. We will definitely be returning here. http://rvlostyet.com

We signed up with Thousand Trails in order to defray some of our camping costs since we are traveling full-time. This was the first TT campground we visited. From what we have heard, this particular campground is one of the nicest ones in their network, and I can believe it. It's very well kept, offers a lot of amenities (pool, tennis courts, mini golf, activities for the kids, etc) and is centrally located, close to all the major Hershey attractions.
My only ding is that our spot was very tight. Along with most of the 'big rigs,' we were in the H loop. There are some sites on the inner part of the loop that are quite spacious. The ones on the outer part though, could be very narrow and right next to each other. Luckily, the site we had was long, so our picnic table fit behind our RV, but I would not have put our awning out because it would have come so close to our neighbor's rig.
Like other TT campgrounds, you can't reserve a particular site ahead of time, so you just get what's available when you arrive. It worked out ok for us, but we saw someone else completely unable to get their rig into the one available spot. I'm not sure where he ended up going, but I'm sure it was stressful.
All in all, we would come back to this park to visit the local sites, and for families looking for a destination campground, I think it would be great.

This is probably the 9th Thousand Trails property we have visited....and it is our favorite! It is only the 2nd one that we would pay to stay at if we were not members. So...depending on the price...I recommend this wether you have the membership or not. It is a beautiful park that is clean and maintained well. There are 3 loops with full hook-ups for RV's. We stayed in the H loop. The connections worked perfectly and we were close to the lake and laundry room. The other two loops (B and C) have an additional charge of $3 per day for members as they have been recently upgraded with electrical (according to the ranger). We were here on the last weekend before the park closed for the season. Mid-week it thinned out...but it was a full house for the Halloween activities on Saturday. I would highly recommend enjoying a fall weekend here one year. So many families participated and my kids had a blast with trick-or-treating. This was our home base for visiting Hershey and Gettysburg and it worked well. I loved that this park was not as remote as many of the other TT parks are. This is a large spacious park. If we were to return, we would try the B Loop as it sits higher...it probably gets a better cell signal.

This was our first time staying at a Thousand Trails campground. We got a discounted price through our PassportAmerica membership. Make sure you call the PA customer service to get 50% on the weekend because the website won't allow you.
Our site was level and an easy back-in FHU, no cable, no wifi. Verizon 4G was spotty. Our site came with a fire ring and picnic table and plenty of open space around us for our girls to play. The campground is pretty big, a lot of seasonal/fulltime looking campers and sites. During the summer I imagine this place packed with Hershey Park being so close. This area of Pennsylvania is beautiful and we really enjoyed driving around in the country side.
This is a great park if you're looking to be in the area for Hershey Park, otherwise I would not really go out of my way to camp here.

This is a very nice Thousand Trails park and we really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in site 57 that was very spacious and had a great view of the lake. It also included full hookups and 50 amp for no additional fee. Check-in was quick and easy and the staff working at the front gate/booth were always friendly. The activity center is nice and the other amenities like the pool area looked nice as well but it was not open for the season yet. They allowed us to receive packages there which we really appreciated. Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile all worked well. This is one of the nicest Thousand Trails parks we have been to. One piece of advice though if you are approaching the campground where you would need to turn left to enter the campground. There are no signs alerting you to the campground entrance and it sneaks up on you. Coming from the other direction where the campground would be on your right, there are many signs to help you out. The location is great for visiting Hershey attractions. Since we fulltime RV I am always in search of places to have my hair cut and colored. I went to Salon Element in Lebanon and they were fantastic, highly recommend!

It's a ride to get to Hershey but was not horrible (30 mins). Is quite a hilly CG. I arrived on a Monday and finding a spot was not that easy. The roads in the back part are all stone which creates a lot of dust when dry and muddy when wet. The pool is the best part of this park. Very nice and well kept. There is also a spa/hot tub. As expected for the summer lots of kids but most seemed well behaved.
There is a warning that the speed limit is 5 mph. They supposedly use a radar gun to find violators. They then get a ticket and if caught again they are asked to leave and a note is made on your membership. Don't know if that is try but that is what they post. Bit extreme if you ask me but to each their own. The road heading to the park is like many roads leading to TT parks, off the beaten path and curvy. They are also building a pipeline nearby so there was only one way traffic on a portion of it.
Needless to say not my favorite park. Oh, there is a fee for 50A electric but only for certain sites. And of course all the 50A free sites are taken by long timers.
ATT and Tmobile had no service. Good old Verizon barely had service with maybe 1 mbps down. Add a booster and Big Red had 20 mbps downlaod. Stream away!

On the whole we enjoyed staying at TT Hershey. This was our first RV trip anywhere as a family in the trailer. We are non-members paying retail rates. The sites around us were decent sized, and we were there on opening weekend in April. We were able to stay near family who rented cabins. Our loop didn't have many people in it, and was relatively quiet. We could hear some noise from the other loops on Saturday night. Staff was friendly, park is conveniently located to Hershey attractions. Grocery store was a short drive away.
We weren't able to take advantage of any of the activities that needed equipment. Equipment checkout was restricted to the hours that the Country Store was open, which closed at 2pm on a Monday, and wasn't open at all on Tuesday or Wednesday. I'd expect that to be the case for mini golf clubs, but was surprised that this was also the case for ping pong, pool, and horseshoes. Kind of pointless to have a coin-operated pool table if there aren't any pool cues available at the table.
Facilities are adequate but are somewhat run-down, and haven't been renovated in a while. Bathrooms were clean but have seen better days. Public access WiFi in the lodge was completely unusable (0.06M/s up and down), could not pull up a simple Google search without waiting 30+ seconds.

Snagged the perfect shady spot for our home on wheels. This Thousand Trails Campground has great amenities and our 50 amp, full hookup site was at no additional charge. Located just 25 minutes from Hershey’s Chocolate World, this RV resort is found within a pristine country setting. AT&T cell service with a booster clocked in at 27.2 Mbps download speed and 7.98 upload speed. Verizon clocked in at 15.2 Mbps download speed and.0.66 upload speed.

Stayed at this hershey TT park the first week of june. It was strange to go by the amusement park and no ride, no people, no cars around due to COVID-19.
The resort is actually outside the Hershey downtown by some 15 miles but it's a nice drive through rolling fields and farm land which is quite a beautiful route.
One word of about the location.. Make sure you are coming in off hwy 322 so when you head to the resort entrance you will turn to the right to get in.. coming the other direction is a narrow, twisty, hilly road that can be a hand full in a larger rig.
The sun in our site, B-16 came up on the curb side, went over head and set toward the front left corner behind the tree line around 3ish.. The site beside us b-18 was a perfect place. there was a nice tree on the street side that provided shade from around noon through the afternoon. Now later or earlier in the year the sun will be a bit different but that is still a good sun route.
Unfortunately all the resort amenities were close till the weekend right before we left and not every was "open" after that.
There is a nice looking pool and other activities area around the main family lodge area.
The area was nicely manicured on a weekly basis.
The only bath house open the whole time was in "A" section which is more used by tent and popup type campers.
Most of the roads are paved but a fair share of them are gravel as are the sites.. The water sewer and elec are on a pedestal. On our site the 30 amp was not working.. (breaker was bad) So we call and one of the rangers came out. At first the office people was talking about using the 50 amp at a additional charge. when the ranger came out I told him I only needed 30 amp and had a dog bone for the 50 to 30.. he unlocked it and we hooked up no extra charge.
going out and coming was handled by either someone in the guard shack or use of the keypad with code to open the gate.
there is a good grocery store close by and in lancaster a Costco that sell LP refills for 2.10 a gallon. it about a 30 min drive so make it worth while.
For the golfers I play a local course called Deer Valley with a guy in motorhome in site across the road. We liked it so much the first time we play again 2 days later.. The cost was $25 with cart, (senior rate) a deal for such a nice course.
We rode bikes around the resort which as a good deal as there are several good size hills so you get a nice work for sure.
Overall not a bad place but like other TT needs some attention to the small stuff to help make it just a bit better.

We've stayed at 20 Thousand Trails campgrounds this year, and this Hershey location is our favorite.
Full hookups (50amp, water, sewer). Excellent water pressure at 60psi.
Service was super friendly at the front desk. With their suggestion, we headed to section H to look for an available 50amp site and found site H5 on the hill looking over the lake.
We had lots of success at fishing, enjoyed the swimming pool, caught fireflies at night, watched the deer eating outside our back window, and took lots of photos of beautiful sunsets.
The only knock against the campground is the weak cell service. It was a bit hit or miss between our AT&T phones and Verizon hotspot. Sometimes it was good enough to stream, other times we couldn't even refresh a web page.
