Take 6 steps and you’re in the Susquehanna. The campground itself is okay. It’s a lot of seasonal who spend the day riding around on their electric golf carts. Everyone is nice. The place fills up on the weekends and can get noisy. They also have an ice cream stand that’s open on the weekend. We used Passport America to get 50% off (plus $4-nt for electric) Mon-Thu. Otherwise their sites are pricey. We come back every year!

Made a quick decision to pull over to rest. This campsite luckily had availability and they were very accommodating. The river is very beautiful. We expected lots of mosquitoes but were pleasantly surprised there were none. The ferry boat crosses run every day. Restrooms aren’t very clean but the setting allows you to outweighs the cleanliness of the restrooms. We would most definitely stay here again.

We stopped for an overnight stay and enjoyed the campground. We had a site by the River (#1) with a beautiful view of the river. The campground was quiet and clean. The restrooms were recently upgraded under new ownership and were well maintained. The front office woman is a part time resident and couldn’t have been friendlier. They have a nice store. The price is a little high at $70 but we got an AARP discount and the high prices seem to be the norm along this section of 15. We will plan on staying here again in the future.

The bugs were pretty bad at dusk and the one big concern was when we were setting up my wife saw a big snake on the river bank near the back of the site and she was freaked out by it. I'm not skiddish of snakes but having to go into the high grass, shrubs to hook up the power at site 6 had me uneasy. 3$ for laundry, we only stayed one night since we were traveling but would stay again and check out the rest of the campground offerings.
