Price paid reflects having full hookups and the National Seniors Pass. Regular price for full hookups is $40 and $37 for water and electric.
This is another great Corp of Engineers campground on a reservoir. The campground is mowed grass with lots of trees for shade. The campground roads are paved, the pads are paved and the patio area next to your pad is gravel. The sites are very much spread out. Sites nearer to the water are electric and water only. Further away from the water you can get full hookups. Make reservations if you want to be here on the weekend. Bathrooms were decent.
One of the camping areas called Pine (about a mile away) had no hookups. We drove down there to check them out. The sites were not as grassy and nice, but you could be right on the water if you wanted to be. It would be very easy to slip a kayak or canoe into the water from a waterfront site in this area. The entry road was dirt and the pads were gravel. It might be a challenge to level in this area.
When we were here (late May), the beach was closed due to the proliferation of Canada Geese droppings. It was hot enough to swim, so that was a disappointment. But the boat launch was opening and the kayaking was great.
Verizon Cell had a strong 4G signal due to the proximity of Highway 15 / I-99. As you got away from the campground, cell service was hit and miss. You could consistently pick up 4 OTA TV stations, with NBC being the major network.
We found plenty to do in the area. We paid a visit to the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania. Stop at Highland Chocolates in Wellsboro for treats made by a special workforce. If you need groceries, Wellsboro also had a Tops and a Weise Market, plus a RiteAid. Stop in the Visitor's Center at the campground and learn about the dam and walk the Tree Identification Trail. There is a lengthy Rail Trail in the area.
We enjoyed our 4 days here. We would definitely visit again. It's easy to get to from the Interstate, so it would make a great overnight stop too.

We only stayed overnight. Most of the sites were reserved but site 96 was open for the one night. It is a really nice site with electric. There were no showers in this loop we had to go to another loop to take showers. It is a well run park but pretty much open with trees but no vegetation between sites.

Price reflects Sr. Access Pass from NPS and included full hook-ups w/50 amp service. Plenty of room between sites and lots of mowed green space and shade trees. Bathrooms clean and showers had good pressure and plenty of hot water. Laundry room was small, 2 washers & 2 dryers, just ok. We loved biking around the campground as well as on a couple of seasonal-road type trails. Plan to return to bike the Pine Creek Trail someday. Campground seemed busy leading up to holiday weekend but noise was minimal. Great AT&T service but Verizon not so much. Will be one of our favorites. ❤️

Ives Run is one of the best Army Corp of Engineers campgrounds we seen. We dry camped on site 132 in the Pine loop, which is all dry camping, no hookups at all. Other loops offer partial and full hookups as well as flush toilets and showers. The campground overall is well tended by several friendly camp hosts. The campground is also well patrolled by the the A of E. The National Parks Pass will get you a discount here as well. The Pine loop is primitive and all sites are grass to minimally graveled. Some are well used, and on weekends it fills with boaters, party people and generators. During the week it was very peaceful. Site 132 is one of the best sites on this loop. Accessibility is decent for most sized rigs, but you must travel down a dirt/gravel road about a mile to get to Pine Loop. However, the other loops are paved and the 5th wheels and Class A campers congregate in these sections. There is a huge boat ramp off the campground and this is also accessible to day use. This is easy to get to and it is a 15 minute drive to the quaint but busy town of Wellsboro, which offers all sorts of shopping options. Also it is a 5 minute drive to the New York state line, as well as interstate 15 (future Interstate 99). Watkins Glen is about 1 hour away.

Ditto on all the reviews posted earlier. Nice place, roomy sites, but Busy in the summer so get your reservations early. $40/night reflects the standard rate for a 30/50amp, water, sewer site.
**It is self checkin. Go to your site. Map and rules are on the site marker post.

We were very happy with our stay at Ives Run. Since it was only one night, we chose to stay out on
Pine loop which has no hookups. Sites are variable out there as far as size and levelness. We loved site 140 - it was spacious and private. We didn't have a view of the lake but it was probably less windy and close to restroom. The hookup sites were pretty much full on a Saturday in early June so reservations are probably needed for those during the summer.

We booked fairly last minute and stayed 2-days in one spot and 3-days in another. They were both good sites that leveled easily. Both FHU 50A. The sites are hardtop.
In many campgrounds, the actual destination is a city or a monument or a walk, but here the destination is the park itself. Beautiful trees, wide-open grassy areas, and a reservoir. The only time we went out of the campground was to get lunch at the local Florida Fried Chicken and a trip to Walmart, which is about 20 minutes away.
The dogs loved keeping the local squirrels on their toes. Despite the campground being full, all the day-use areas were very quiet, so we were able to let the dogs run around without disturbing anyone.
It's always interesting how much the culture varies between campgrounds. In this one everybody was friendly and said hello and often stopped to talk.
One caution for real big rigs - there are 2 bridges on the way into the campground with a 27 ton limit.
Cell signals were strong so I didn't even need to raise the antennas.

We are driving across country in an RV and saw this nice campground on s lake! Figured me might find a spot during the middle of the week, but called and learned all sites had been reserved werks if not months ago. In my view, it is a shame that the public land managers have turned all the sites in so many campgrounds over to online reservations. If you do manage to get in, you see numerous sites sitting empty for days, because some jerk reserved the site six months ago and blew it off. Used to be, managers kept half the sites for first come. That was great. This new system fails to fully utilize a public recreation resource.
