We spent 3.5 months at this park as Workampers earlier this year; nightly rate reflects 2017 Passport America. The 25 RV sites are a mix of open/partial/full shade, on gravel or grass, most pull-thru with long-term sites back-in. All have water & electric (20/30A or 50A), and most have sewer. Dump station available. Roads within area are gravel, and accessible for big rigs. The 12 tent sites are in separate forested area. All sites have campfire ring & picnic table. There is also a group site for large gatherings. There is a bathhouse with two showers on each side. It was refurbished this year with new flooring, paint & lighting. Staff keeps the bathrooms very clean. Owners are very friendly and try to accommodate guest requests. Campground is part of a facility that also features river trip outfitter and gem sluice. Easy to arrange for canoes/kayaks/tubes to float down Androscoggin River, and then just walk back to your campsite.

Stayed here 4 days, FHU with cable. Androscoggin River was a beautiful float. Visited several covered bridges in the area and Grafton Notch State Park is nearby.

I called and made a reservation on the phone two days ago using my Passport America membership. I arrived today after driving 6 hours to find out that PA is not accepted in August, although my membership was plainly noted on my reservation. My expected $20 stay was now $41. Mary made the (un)helpful suggestion that there is a Walmart about 45 min away. Since I needed to dump tanks and fill water tonight and it was coming up on 5 PM I decided to pay the full price. I always check blackout dates first when selecting a PA campground but somehow misinterpreted the wording. I wish this had been pointed out to me when I called to make the reservation and I would’ve looked elsewhere.

I called ahead of the time and spoke to Patty - super nice & said they had plenty of room (we were here in mid-September of 2022). Site was pull-thru and definitely way too close to the neighbor (who was not there - just his or her RV), but we still enjoyed it. The owners have done a really nice job at adding interesting things - a suspension bridge to a little island with a trail, a pond, walking trail etc. Laundry facilities, canoes, kayaks & a small store. I had fun bantering with Patty's husband, Jeff (he is from England & I am from Scotland) and really enjoyed it here. Nice walk under the bridge down to Mahoosuc Land Trust Valentine Farm with gardens & walking trails.
