Short little hike to the top of a bluff where you get a view of the other rock formations and can read a little about why they are there. We stopped here for a picnic lunch before climbing up and it was a nice place to stretch your legs out.
It's a nice looking state park but the camping sucks , a train goes by fast very 30 minutes blaring the horn and there are no showers . All for the great price of 32 bucks if you are from out of state . I have not checked out the park itself yet I'm sure that it's clean and nice but I really hope I get some sleep tonight.
This isn’t a beautiful state campground right off the highway. When we stayed, there was no one else here but even if there had been, the sites were pretty private and peaceful. So glad I stopped, I was on my way to the only other campground I could find on my way to Minneapolis, which would have cost me over $30! I only paid $20 because I’m from out of state, I believe it’s half that if you’re in state.
My only problem with it was that it’s NOISY. Not from people, but from the interstate + a nearby train.
