Saturday afternoon neighbor 150 pound dog jumps the three foot temporary fence and charges me, my wife and when takes a swipe at my 12 pound dog and then neighbor casually calls for their dog to return. I asked them to please keep their dog on a leash and they did after that. Saturday night there was a band playing outside. My wife and I thought to walk up with our dog that was on a leash to enjoy the music. When we got there a man and his large dog was playing fetch with a ball on the long road by where the band was playing. The man was using one of those bal launches so he was throwing the ball at least 150 feet. My dog was very nervous and was barking so we had to leave. There were about 100 people watching the band but knowbody said anything to this man with his dog on a leash. I noticed three or four other couples that had dogs on a leash and same thing. Those dogs were nervous and some were also barking. Then while walking back we once again got attacked by three dogs because the owner forgot to shut the fence. Luckily the owners were right there so they grabbed them by the color before they could get to us. One of the dogs was a pit bull. Then that same night we had a campfire. At about 9pm all of a sudden the dog next to us went under their campfire and then charged at us and got about 10 feet from us before close lining itself. The next day I noticed dogs roaming the campground by themselves. One was a pit bull. We will never come back. Unsafe.

The water and electric sites are $43. The the full hookup sites are $58.
The Campground was awesome, we really loved it. It was a bit noisy though. There are roosters at a nearby farm that crow pretty early. There was also a seasonal camper that was using his chainsaw to cut wood for the better half of an hour. Not ideal but one bad apple did not dampen our impression of this great campground.
If we had stuck to our simple Thousand Trails Zone pass we would never have discovered it. Since it is an Encore property, we needed the Trails Collection upgrade to stay. Keep in mind though, that the Trails Collection pass allows you to stay, but full hookups are a premium offering and are not included. We opted for just water and electric and there is a dump station on site. One of the cons not mentioned in the video is that laundry here is uber-expensive. It is $2.50 to wash and $2.50 to dry. The previous campground had the price set at $1.50. Needless to say, we only washed one load of laundry.
We will return sometime in the future.

Stayed one night while visiting friends. Beautiful park but narrow country streets to get there and in park. Site grass and fairly level. Looks like plenty if activities for adult and kids. Dance barn, exercise room, miniature golf and swimming pools. Beautiful countryside in Amish country. Couldn’t get satilite but internet good. Would love to stay and visit area.

We live locally. We were impressed by the size and cleanliness of this park. We stayed in the lower area. The bathrooms and showers were extremely clean and well lit. By far the best shower houses we’ve experienced!! There are 2 pools that do get crowded. Also available are mini golf, shuffle board, sand volleyball, lakes for swimming and fishing. Each site had a nice campfire ring and grate for grilling.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds. It’s not the least expensive place you will ever stay but the sites are big, bathhouses very clean, and amenities are great (2 pools, fishing lake, sandy beach, mini golf, sand volleyball, small fitness center, basketball, whirlpool, playground, horseshoes, game room, laundry, tennis court, etc). On the weekends they have plenty of family activities including Bingo on Friday and often live music of some sort on Saturday.
The Elite sites (most expensive) are huge! With plenty of shade and privacy. (See photo) Gravel back in sites with both 30 and 50 AMP service. They also have many other type of sites with full hookup, just water and electric and dry camping, etc. They also have cottages, cabins, park models and houses for rent. All rates are based on 2 adults, they do charge for additional people.
All in all if you are looking for a wild and crazy time - this isn’t it. If you are looking for a cheap night (or two) away - this isn’t it. But if you enjoy having a really clean and well maintained experience where people are friendly - I can’t recommend it enough!
