Great place, clean bathrooms and each shower was in its own room! There is alot to do here. The only thing that was a tad annoying, which is out of their control, is the traffic noise from the city.
Great place to stay easy access from I 90 very close to see Mount Rushmore, bear country USA , not far from Walmart , bathrooms are very clean and shower are also very clean . Staff is very nice and helpful, I would stay there again
Great location just outside of Rapid City, an easy 25-30min drive to Mt Rushmore but also able to backtrack to Badlands NP. Campground itself was one of the best we've stayed at, we tried to extend a night but it was full! Very large campground, but lots of amenities like big playground, pool, hot tub, and multiple showers/bathrooms - all very clean. Front desk very responsive and organized. 10/10 would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay here. The sites are small and unless you are on an end like we were, it almost feels like you might start your neighbor's trailer on fire if you use the fire pit.
A number of the trees were dead leaving little shade for a large number of spots.

Did a quick drive thru while I was in Rapid City. Mix of gravel/grass and paved sites.

High traffic site so expect people to be coming & going. Staff were very nice but could not accommodate us for one additional night. We had to move to another park. KOA is a Good Sam park but we did NOT get the discount nor were we asked. If you have memberships - ask for the discount because these folks didn’t ask (nor did I mention it) so we lost that discount. Overall our site was quiet and quite nice. Sewer drops are near the back of the driveway so you will need 3-4 sections to connect. Water/cable/power positioning was good. Site fairly level. Neighbor’s sewer connection drop about a foot away from the picnic table! Rather nasty. We didn’t use the table for that reason. Noticed family events early evening & ‘all you can eat pancakes’ for $2.99 for breakfast. Nice social park with a lot of nice amenities.

Very surprised at how clean this campgound is. Noise is very minimal, even with Air Force Base being close by. We will stay here again. Staff was very pleasant to work with and the S'mores were an enjoyable event in the evening before retiring to camper for the night.

Now this is what I call a great RV park. Large lots, you can have a campfire, they sell wood, they even rent cars! All the people were super nice. The showers were not that big but certainly not small and I have seen all sizes, the shower heads were more than high enough for me and I am 5’9” and I am a hefty guy and I had no issues... well maybe the fact that the bench was a bit high... sigh... I had to find something wrong! And yes not all sites have cable but so what just check when you make your reservations... so many other campgrounds don’t even offer cable!... and soooo clean!
If I come back to this area I am coming back here... you should too!!!

We stopped here for a night on our way home to Ohio from Yellowstone. We only stay at KOA's while traveling because they aren't our kind of "camping" but they're easy when you've been driving for 10 hours and just need a place to crash. The hosts were friendly and helpful and everything was typical of a KOA: level pull-through sites (though tight), clean showers, bathrooms and laundry. Also, we had a couple pizzas delivered from the Papa John's and it came super fast and they brought it right to our site.

It is right near rapid city and i90 so this made a great stop for our cross country journey. Some spots are unpaved, some unpaved with a paved patio, and some paved with nice patios. We came in the off season and a winter storm had hit so we opted for the fully paved as some of the unpaved were soupy.
WiFi didn’t work.
