“RV park & campground”
The gentle hills of southern Indiana's Brown County roll off into the distance from this KOA, set atop a forested ridge. Although it's easy to reach, the campground is tucked among the trees away from the main road. Tent Sites and Back-In RV Sites make the most of the wooded setting; so does the walking trail, popular with both human and canine campers. You'll also find Pull-Thru RV Sites and Camping Cabins. Looking for "Glamp Camping"? We have 1, 2, and 3-bedroom deluxe cabins to fit your needs. Our amenities include a large swimming pool, a basketball court, corn hole, a small playground for your children and a fenced pet park. Hikers and golfers are happy to take advantage of the lovely Brown County State Park and Salt Creek Golf Retreat, both just across the road. If you are going to The Music Center for a concert, book a couple of nights with us in a cabin. Less than two miles away, downtown Nashville, Indiana, delights visitors with its historic artists' colony, locally owned shops, restaurants, and is just minutes away from the Brown County Music Center. Pool: Memorial Weekend - Labor Day Weekend. Max pull thru: 60 feet. Your hosts: Bruce and Shawn Carpenter

Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on October 13, 2022We don't stay at a ton of KOAs, but we were surprised at how big the sites were here. Apparently a few years ago they removed every other site so the campsites would be more roomy. I can't remember our exact site number, but the ones along the tree line are decently shaded. The staff was friendly and overall we had a great experience here. The only downside was there are a lot of ticks both at the campground and in the general area. I don't remember the exact nightly rate we paid, but in typical KOA fashion, it was a little pricy for what you get. Location is great in relation to Brown County State Park. Verizon was weaker than expected, but workable.

Spacious sites for a KOA. Staff very helpful with parking and picked up trash at site. Wi-Fi usual for working from home. Very convenient location to Brown County State Park and downtown Nashville shopping. No T-Mobile service, but some AT&T.

If you are visiting the beautiful Brown County State Park and looking for a quiet, full hookup spot to stay, this is a good option. It's a bit pricey, but worth it for us. The park is well-maintained with good facilities, pretty landscaping and nice deluxe patio sites. They are expanding and improving the park with more to come. We really enjoyed our roomier, shady site in the newer the upper level area. We needed to level our trailer, but it wasn't onerous. Not all sites are 50 AMP (some are 30), so check the site before booking or chat with the staff to find the best site for you. There is a great "nature walk" that offers lots of sniffs for the pups and recycling is on site (an unfortunate rarity in campgrounds). The staff couldn't be more accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and will return.

Stayed here late-Aug 2023.
Pull-through 50 amp. FHU. Site #98
THE GOOD:
Staff: Really helpful staff.
Gas/restaurants/groceries: It is within 10 min of anything you might need.
Noise: Quiet at night.
Wifi: Decent campground wifi for work.
State park: Brown County State Park is 5 min away.
THE BAD:
Nothing comes to mind.
WORTH NOTING (not good or terrible)
Sites 94-122: These sites are mainly rocky gravel and direct living space. So kind of bare bones. I would not stay in these sites for more than an overnight.
Sites 62-78: More to our taste for next time with grass living spaces.
Sites 28-46: Nice back-ins with grass living spaces.
