This area of Wells County was once occupied by the Miami, whose villages flanked the banks of the Wabash river that forms the southern property boundary. The park name is spelled Ouabache and is often pronounced O-ba-chee. Many of the buildings used on this property were built by the CCC workers of the 1930s. We are located near Bluffton, IN. Ouabache Wonderland of Lights from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. beginning Thanksgiving, November 26 through December 27th, 2015. Check our DNR webpage or facebook page for more information or call the park office.

If you have a smaller camper (ours is 19') I suggest Loop B. I saw a couple issues with bigger rigs (maybe 26'/28') getting into some of the spots.
Bike path & hiking trails were great, there was a lake to fish and swim in and pretty darn quiet for being about at capacity.
We really enjoyed the park.
Cell coverage via AT&T was 2 bars LTE and good enough to stream Netflix via my hotspot.
We had site 88, but if you can get 90, do it. people across the "street" were not too far away but could't see the neighbors on either side.

Camped Sunday night thru Wednesday in June. Weekends I understand are quite busier. Friendly staff. Chose loop B. Only a handfull of campers. Bison exhibit, bike trail into Bluffton, fire tower to climb.

We stopped at the local KOA and it looked like a dump. We checked the state park which was excellent. The staff was great and the park was beautiful. We were told being the park was starting to empty out to take a drive around and pick our site.

Stayed in sites loop B sites in the 90+ range. Many sites were on slopes. Side to side leveling was not bad but front to back leveling needed lots of adjustment. Bathroom house near these sites were vault toilets and pretty disgusting. Sewer flies everywhere in the bathroom. Thankfully we were fully contained so other than a quick trip to the bathroom after we tore down camp it wasn’t a huge issue for us. T-mobile Home Internet had a weak signal here (2 bars) but managed to provide 5 - 10 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload speed. Starlink speeds were great but finding a site with minimal tree cover can be a challenge in this loop near these sites. Sites were larger than many of the more popular Indiana State Parks. We were able to set up two campers, two clam tents, and lay out our large RV rug with plenty of room to spare on our sites in between our camping buddies.
